Even if he is the 2nd best player on the planet (which he isn't) it sure matters when you retire with no slams in the cabinet

He is, and he's only 22. Plenty of time for those slams to fill his cabinet before he retires.

Yup. And it won't be long until he's above Nadal.

But the fact is he hasn't yet therefore not the second best in the world at this point in time.

Had a great chance in this third set with a dip in form from Fed but looks like we will have to hope for the lottery of a tie break. I bet Bolt is praying for Murray in that.
