Not really.
Gone from an outside chance of promotion to a relegation fight and the prospect of losing our manager and best players over the next week!

There has to be a reason for the timing of it as a Moses sale was inevitable and would have kept the club going for the rest of the season.
It may be because the club had a winding up hearing tomorrow brought by HMRC, and had that resulted in administration then i think we would have had an additional 7 points deducted!!!

However inevitable it was it is really gutting.

Rumours round Nottingham that they're close to getting Moses. I guess you'll still get good money for him.
You've got games against Posh and Scunny coming up which now look key.
It's not a pleasant thing to happen but it's nice to have another team involved in the relegation fight and [ ] i'm gutted for Warnock.

Where did the Premiership money and the AJ sale money go? Did you spend alot trying to get back up or were you living above your means for a while?

I know we'd just put in a complaint to the league about you not paying us the mccarthy money which became due a few weeks ago. maybe that had something to do with the timing as they would've wanted to know why you didn't pay us straight away from the fonte sale

A combination of things.

Players signed on high wages to try and earn a return to the Premiership 3 years ago.
Simon Jordan not owning the ground so having to pay out a lot of money in rent over the years.
Falling attendances.
Simon Jordan's other business losing money meaning he couldnt put in additional investment that the club needed.
Simon Jordan losing interest over the last 18 months or so and refusing to accept any offers for the club that didnt mean he got a full return on his investment.

We have been there before and bounced back and I'm sure we will do it again.

I believe that any money owed is paid to clubs before the selling club receive their money.
Therefore your complaint about the money owed probably came after the Fonte sale.
What we owe you is minimal compared to all our other debts.

I guess that all players will be sold to the highest bidder, therefore Moses will probably still be sold for a fair bit.
As for Speroni, Clyne, Danns etc any bid is likely to be accepted and our team ripped to pieces.
Hopefully Warnock will see it as one more big challenge to keep us up and will stay until the end of the season at least.

yep, it's minimal (100kish) but possibly the first complaint over which the league has jurisdiction so they may have pressured you into action one way or another

checking the dates it was def after the fonte sale so the money was probs already swallowed up
