Hand 1 I'm getting them in against a big stack. I think that there is a good chance he is folding to your next raise

Hand 2 is marginal but I think I can find a fold

1. Ship

2. Fold

3. You did well to lose so little, what do you do if he bets say 3/4 pot on turn?

I was chatting to luckyscrote about the hands, he thinks hand one (without reads) is a fold because of the stack sizes, hand two is a fold and but the last hand I should probably bet/fold the turn as the only hands I'm losing to that might shove are 9's and maybe 5's.

In answer to your question Woodsey, I think I probably would've folded the turn.

Chris, as much as i respect dans view i think that the re raise works BECAUSE of the stack sizes.

He can easily fold to your raise knowing that he is now committted to another $200 or so with only 27 in now (ie you arent folding).

HIs play looks strong (as it is a cold 4 bet) - but therefore it is an easy play with minimal exposure compared to his stack. Below is a hand i played a similar way (cross posted from the rush poker thread). I make this play alot - i have raised UTG in teh rush poker format, therefore my 4 bet looks super strong - but i can still fold if he 5 bets. FWIW i havent seen a light 5 bet in this format yet.

Hand 2 is a fold imo, his rr looks sick strong. I'd have to have a lot more info on villain to do anything else but fold there.

Hand 1, Scrote is prob right but the games I've played in have been so ripe with 3 and 4 betting that I'm getting it in here.

Are you both taking the fact that the opener is shortish into account?  ie I think the 4 bet is more likely for value than not.

1 - Get it in. If your stack size means you shouldn't get it in here then close this table and open up again with 50 bigs.

2 - Sigh fold

3 - WP. You can't beat anything at all. If he's got AK or AQ he's not calling a river bet. He probably hero calls everything that beats you unless you bet very big. Nice escape.

1 - Fold, or get it in. I've not played these myself but hear there's a lot of 3/4betting going on. Villian has big stack. Either he's been hit in the face by the deck or has been getting it in quite often. I'm prob happy to get AKg in here.

2 - Fold.

3 - Seems fine. Prob don't bet as don't see many hands he has that pay off with worse than us. If he bets then tricky decision but I'm probably folding.

So many ppl who love bluffing ITT

A question for you - if you call the 4 bet and c/r the flop (assuming neither of you improve) do you think that villain will call or fold with a different range than they would have preflop?

hand 1 - fold, getting in here at .5/1 v unkown who's probably straight forward is really bad.

hand 2 - i'd call pre if i'm not happy about getting it in pre flop

hand 3 - similar situation you really need to be asking yourself why am i 3 betting? i'd prob call pre v unknown but don't mind 3bet.

1. fold. horrible to get it in because of stack sizes

2. fold. too easy to be tempted into calling, but this is such a bad spot.

3. be glad he didnt bet the turn, and that the river brought 4 to a straight. correct play from you imo - i like the check on the turn with a view to value betting any small card/pair up on the end - most players read you for AK/AQ and call with poo. if he bets when you check the turn i think you have to sigh and check-call down, but maybe you can escape the river
