Trigg made his thread about grinding with music and I was surprised at people saying that it would tilt them when they where playing.I normally have music on when I'm grinding just coz why not it's a pretty toasty life if you can sit happy doing something you like while listening to music.

I'm not guna list every track but this is the list of artists/bands that I've got on my poker playlist:

Arctic monkeys
Red hot chilli peppers
Richard Aschroft (solo)
The Verve
Coldplay
Muse
The Rolling Stones
The Libertines
The Kinks
Jime Hendrix
David Bowie
Radiohead

Nice playlist, usually when I'm playing I prefer listening to the radio, something like Q or XFM or even Absolute, find it keeps me focused plus it's entertaining and you get to keep up with the news etc

Pretty much liking all of this, but couldn't listen to it while playing poker too distracting. Need something a lot more subtle when i am grinding.

I wouldn't want the radio on as then something new would be distracting.I find with this I just have it as background sound so I'm kind of listening to it but it doesn't take away any of my focus.

Would be pretty impossible to grind 6-8 hour session without something in the background, for me anyway.

Poker Podcasts are good to listen to as well. 2+2 Pokercast, PokerRoad Radio & The PokerBeat especially.

Was Bishop good Ray?

I had to go to work again yesterday but so will be off next tues am fine with that. After about 20 games a had a splitting headache so took a couple of paracetamol but it hasn't shifted it and my heads still splitting now so only played 100,any excuse I know   Had a good day today which helps especially with coming to the end of the staking;I'll be done that by the end of the week and will hopefully be shipping back original stakes plus some profit.I actually ran a tiny bit below ev today which I was suprised about when making $3 per game but I'm not complaining.

Games today : 100
Profit today : $295.50

Current bankroll : $2298.50
