Pretty sure I didn't win one fukn flip on a ft all day today, FUKN JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually I did win ONE near the end of the session.

That, as well as getting it constantly stuck in my eye makes it another shit fukn day. There has been times previously where I've got a bit stuck in a rut and I've admitted at times previously that I haven't been playing well but from the start of this year I've felt like I've been playing really well and done a lot of work on my game yet I'm going to have made a loss over 2000 games so either somethings wrong or I'm running as bad as it's possible to do so, considering the shit end to the year I had. Obviously I can't have went from being ranked #1 on scope to a breakeven bad reg in the space of three months, so hopefully things will turn around soon.

Games today : 150
Loss today : $449.75
Games total  : 600
Loss total : $701.75

Vpp's this year : 4295.50
Fpp's total : 197,578

Current bankroll : $2289.51

I've decided I am going to rent a flat, asap. It will just be a small one bedroom flat, easy for me to keep clean, ldo, but I'm pretty excited at the idea of having my own place. I pretty much have total freedom living with my Mam now as she's at her partner's a lot of the time or at work but it's obviously not the same.

I've got in touch with a couple of estate agents to request viewings of a few different places. Here are the places I'm going to look at:

This one I'm not overally keen on but it's a good location for work and handy for transport into town. This is probably the best place for me to get a flat but maybe not this one.

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-31778954.html

As you can see there's no inside pictures of this one but it's ridic cheap considering where it's located. Obviously if it's shit then I'll pass but it's worth taking a look

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-32790593.html

This one is the nicest of the four for me. It's a little bit more expensive but it's in a really nice location so is worth the little bit extra.

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-32133134.html

And last but not least is this. It's pretty close to the one above but without actually being right on the quayside. It looks really nice inside though so is another one I want to look at.

Hey bud

Have you thought of looking along at St Peters basin (just along from the "Mushroom" flats you posted).

It has a good local pub (the bascule) is great in the summer, and has a really good community spirit to it, but not with (oh god how do I say this so it comes out right!?!?!?!?!!?) normal people!

What i mean is really diverse people, wealthy layabouts, barristers, "normal folk", but all of whom have really good life stories (I should point out I met my wife at this place - so I really do mean all this as compliments), and I think you would fit in very well - especially as a local in the bascule!

Just a thought

The bottom place is listed as being there, looks really nice as well. Comes a close second to the one on the Quayside at the minute but may change my mind after viewing them etc.

ah yeah - i didnt click that one! My wife has a place in foundry court - sure you will like it. They tend to be the cheaper ones away from the harbour

£25 difference between the two so just see which one I like the best. How keen on these place on giving you a viewing, what I mean is will they dictate when I should go or will they just really want me to view ? I'm hoping to view them all on Monday and get it out the way.

a good agent will make time for you if you are going through agencies. if they are with the same agents then they should do them one after the other. Its agent dependant really

Haha, it's not and is very, very unlikely to be the place I end up. Probably won't actually even bother persuing that one any further. It'll be between the other 3.

The £525 says it's part-furnished (although doesn't look it from the pics) so may be worth the extra £25 a month if you're otherwise going to have to buy a load of new stuff.

The last property is pretty misleading.

Listed as Propert features : Unfurnished

Then at the end of the description it says "The property comes fully furnished and is available immediately" I actually like the furnishings as well.

I got a call about the property on the Quayside this morning, the one I liked the most, it's gone, sigh. There'll be loads that are in a similar location and a similar price though so will take a look tonight after the session. I'm dropping the 27's for now until I get the bankroll sorted out. It's been a shit year so far poker wise but it's my own fault and I'm going to get back grinding now so things will be back to "normal" from now.

Well I managed a winning session at least so that's summit Smiley

Hopefully I can get a run of winning sessions going and start crushing again, I'm definitely grinding all weekend and staying off the drink. I plan to grind hard for the first 2 weeks of March and pretty much try to play everyday (this might be difficult if I'm moving though) and then have 14-20th March off for Cheltenham, as well as going to see The Australian Pink Floyd. I got another call about one of the flats, this one was for the studio in Newcastle that was £400, that's pretty cheap for staying pretty much in the city centre so be interesting to see what it's like. I arranged to view it at midday on Monday so hopefully I can sort viewings for St Peter's basin as well as a place on the Quayside on Monday so I only lose one day sorting this out.
