I waste so much time either on here or pissing about playing that haxball game that Bongo linked up or just general bollocks when I'm feeling tired or not in the mood to grind so thought instead of wasting that time I fired up 20 tables let them go for just 15 minutes then it took me close to 2 hours to write down all the notes that where worthwhile making. Think that was a really good exercise and plan to do it regularly in future. Only problem is I've been up since 5pm yesterday and I'm absolutely wrecked and I've got to go to work now, urghhhhhhhh. At least it's only a 4 hour shift but looking forward to getting back home and getting some sleep.

ffs

I'm not sure if you think I'm a clown for wasting time on there or if I've got you hooked. I'm literally a reg on there, haha, pretty sad but it is a good game and some decent banter, shame there's so many trolls and whingers on there, just like everywhere on the internet though.

This is not a whinge at all and I'm in no way steaming at this session but I will continue to mention big hands and my thought processes for those who are interested, since my diary is mainly about the pokers.

Dropped 3.5 bi's today and yet I'd say I played better today than yesterday lol. Only reassurance to that is that ev adj I'm -$50 not -$350. The session started really well, think a probably won about 15-20 of the first pots I played with some decent squeezes/ light 3b's and just big hands. Then had a pretty meh spot vs a losing reg who I have no history with, he opens co and I peel bb with AJos, I prefer peeling>>>>>> 3b here vs this type of reg as he's either 4b or folding so 3b doesn't really achieve anything. Flop is T62cc I have so I c/r his 4/5 cb he calls turn is J which is obv a good card for me to barrel so I bet 5/6 pot setting up a psb to jam river he calls, river is . If I have air here I'm always jamming this river and since he looks pretty strong when he calls my c/r, calls turn I think best play is to jam here, he goes deep in the tank, has 50sec timebank, he eventually calls with 10 secs left and shows 65os, yuk.

Straight afterwards I find myself in another fun spot, btn reg opens to $3, he's down 15bi over 9k hands so we can assume he has leaks, fish in sb peels I find AKos in bb and pop it up to $16, he calls fish folds. I think he propably peels to wide with small/mid pairs when he isn't getting the right odds so think a small cb on a Q93hh is an ok line so I cb $14 into 35 he snap calls, hmm. Turn is a 6, I have 70 back and pot is 63, I decide to barrel and try to make it look like I'm trying to induce a jam by betting $20, he again snap calls. River is a T, so I now have 1/2 psb jam behind, I decide to continue my story and think the fact he's snapped me off on flop and turn means it's less like he has a big hand, he again goes deep in the tank, but this time it gets through, wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

I get back around the b/e mark and pick up 77 in co, hj opens I peel bb also calls, flop is AA7r, nice life I know, hj cb 1/2 pot and I just call bb folds, turn is a 5 he cb 2/3 pot and I decide to go ahead and raise here he bet $11 into $19.50 so I made it $31 with $78 behind, he jams I snap he has AQ and I hold and am up 1 bi.

Chip away for a bit just finding good spots to squeeze etc then find myself in a deep spot vs a fish, btn reg opens I peel sb with 55, bb fish playing 60/30 and has a 3b% of 12.6, he mr which was the 1st time he'd done this and we'd been playing together for a while, despite his high 3b% normally when a fish min 3b in my experience they are strong, btn peels and I peel, fish has me covered and I'm playing just over $200. Flop is 985r and I donk lead 4/5 pot, I like a donk here since there are some turn cards that kill my action and fish is never folding an overpair. He thinks for a bit then calls, btn folds. The turn is a Q, I barrel $40 into $48 and he pretty quickly jams, yuk. I didn't expect him to have 76 or J10 here or flopped a set so I was mainly worried about QQ, I thought he might be spazzing out with AA/KK and jamming for protection so I call, he had 76os.

So I'm now back stuck 1 bi but feeling good and really happy with how I'm playing. I grind for a bit longer and then start to feel a little hungry so decide to go and get a steak out the fridge to let it sit for a bit and grind for half an hour longer. The half hour is up but my tables are really good and I'm only slightly hungry so think I'll play another 15 minutes then stop. Near the end of that 15 minutes I wake up with AA in the sb, utg a very good reg opens, I've been hammering him a bit just finding good spots, I 3b to $11 he makes it $24 I jam he snaps me off, flop is KJx and I sighed a little as thought he might have KK (he has it set not to show) turn and river are bricks and he did have KK, cooler. I decided I'll go and have that steak now and come back and try to grind out the hole. I then find AKos in sb get it in vs button who has QQ and brick out.

So all in all a disappointing session but I'm actually feeling pretty good as I felt like I was playing really well and especially playing well against the regs by constantly putting them in tough spots whether I had it or not. Off to have that steak I've mentioned about 4 times and watch the rest of the Eng game, hope it's an improvement on the first 30mins and then if the tables are good get back on and grind until I go to work, didn't get up until 9pm so feeling pretty fresh.

Oh, one other hand that I had to giggle at was when I had KQdd vs the villain I mentioned in my early ranting post who stacked me with 66 when I had QQ and who wouldn't fold a pair no matter how wet the board was, flop comes 876ddd, happy days, I barrel flop and turn and fist pump jam river, he had AJdd, I LOL'd.

LOL at customer service.

Firstly internet is down(on dongle), luckily I'd finished the session about 10 minutes beforehand, run goodaments. So I ring Virgin up take about 20 minutes to get through which was pretty suprising at this time. Eventually get through and am straight back on hold after he says we are aware of a problem in your area, comes back 5 minutes later, basically just said it's gg until tmoro gtfo and put the phone down lol. I was however extremely impressed by the 5 different options I had for which music I would like to listen too, I'll take Indie/Rock please, how sick good is that lol, is that a new thing or have I just missed it ? Disappointingly when I got put back onto hold I had no option and had to listen to pop shit, such a letdown.

Then I ring Sky, got it for 1/2 price for a year and after seeing the recent advertisement about all current customers having there current prices frozen so I assumed it would be staying at the same price. Checked my bank today and it's not full price, it sure is worth £52 a month, it's not even worth £26, so many channels with bollocks on all day long, such a rip off imo. So I ring up to find out why the price wasn't frozen and there computer systems are down, he says can I ring back at 3:30 so I ask can he not ring me back when the systems are back up, he said " no we can't, not at this time of night", WTF does it matter what the time is ? bizarre.

I don't trust my dongle enough to grind on so just going to look through some of my database and take some more notes.

Rungoodaments.

The tables didn't look that great when I went to start the session but found a couple of ok one's so started anyway. I find J8ss in bb btn reg w/ high f3b% opens fish sb peels, I squeeze, btn calls, sb folds. Flop is a lovely J8xr I cb 1/2 pot he just over mr, I call. He has 57 back, pot is 89, turn is a 9, I check he obliges with the jam I obv snap and he has 1010 and I hold for a nice start. Lost 1/2 of it back soon after when I peeled a min 3b from an aggro fish with A10ss and c/r K66ss he had AK and I didn't bink. The history was set though and soon after he 5b jams on me bb v btn when I have KK 110bbs deep, board runs out 4J7Q5r, he mucks 33. I then had a yukky spot vs a very good reg with a fish in the pot. I 3b sb vs his btn open AKos, fish bb calls he calls. Flop is A104ccc i cb 2/3 pot fish fold he calls. I have just under psb on turn and b/c a 4 turn, c/j or jamming river would've been a better line to take, he has QJcc, river .... Ace, shippppppppp. A couple of fish leave tables and the rest aren't great so I finish 3 bi's up after playing 150 hands, mbn etc.

Finished up +$550 today so with a $100 Brucie bonus it means I'm in mu for just under 3 bi's now.

I just went through every hand in my db for this week that was >$20 either won or loss and picked out all the ones where my play/line is debatable so I can then go through them with Rupert. Pretty com that out of the 20 hands that I'd chosen, 10 where hands I'd won and 10 I'd lost, now that's what I call balanced. This is something I don't think I've been doing enough of and plan to do a lot more regularly. That as well as spending an hour a night getting notes and actually putting some decent volume in as well, I'm hopeful and confident that they results will come.

I've had a few days off from playing as I went to the dogs on Saturday and got ridic wasted to the point where I don't have any clue how I got home and I generally always remember. I didn't actually have that much to drink really but just I haven't been drinking that much recently so I'm not used to it. We had a really good night though, about 20 of us went,I then headed to town with a mate from work but as I say I was smashed and left about half 1, only know this as I checked my phone for what time I'd rung a taxi.

Once again I have a cold, think I'm going to have to go to the quaks as it's getting a bit much. I honestly don't think I've went more than 2 weeks in at least the last 6 months without having a cold. I'm not ill or anything but just get headaches and constantly sniffling and just when I've got cold it's pretty much impossible to play my A game so most of the time I just fade playing which is really frustrating when I want to put the volume in. I just put a small session in there but I struggled to concentrate and wasn't taking anywhere near as many notes as I generally would. Just pretty frustrating really, I'm not a doctor obv but surely there has to be something up with my immune system as my diets been really good the last month or two and as I said I'm not drinking all that much so I can't put it down to my lifestyle as that's what I used to think.

As for the session, only played around 700 hands and not much interesting happened, had AA<<<<<<Q9hh when he peeled my 4b oop 110bbs deep and c/j a Q10xhh flop, I couldn't fade the river heart. Basically just chipped away at it and finished up around $50. Currently in my for 1 bi so pretty pleased with that after the disappointing start to the month/end to last month. Volume isn't great, I've played 12k hands this month but I've put a ton of work in off the tables as well so overall I'm happy with the effort I've put in so far this month.

Pretty com at the dogs, the mate from work who I mentioned had never been to the dogs before and had no idea what to do, since he'd only be betting really small I advised him to just have a punt on a reverse forecast and pick the same two numbers and hope to manage a bink or 2, as you can tell from that advice I no little myself and did the same thing. So we went to the desk and just did out bets for all 12 races, I was getting served at the counter at the same time as him and heard him say 1 and 6, when he checked the slips after she had given him 2 & 6, lolz. Obv can't change it for levelling purposes so he stuck with that, 2 & 6 bricked all night and 1 & 6 binked in the last, so cold. As for me I had 2 & 5 and also blanked the lot, or at least I think I did, ended up in the downstairs bar with me Dad for about 1/2 an hour putting the world to rights, I was already pretty drunk at this point and it wasn't until after I chucked my slips in the bin that I clicked on that I had missed about 3 races that I had no idea what the results had been in those races, wpwp me. Com night.

Barca

Yeah I would as well, still Barca if you could pick any 3 teams ? If so how many teams, if any, would you want to be able to pick against Barca to oppose them ?
