Bought 3 books off Amazon, Stu's recommendation plus Derren Brown's Tricks of the mind and Gypsy Boy by Mikey Walsh as recommended in the book thread. I was going to get Paul Merson's as well but it was only available in hardback and I only like paperbacks, much easier to read in bed, getting delivered tmoro, now just to decide which one to read first.
Get a kindle IMO. (Though the not being able to share a book is a massive pain in the arse and makes me think kindle prices are too high, it's actually quite nice reading. MrsB got me one with a leather cover, even has a little reading light in it...quite cool.)

I will be reading in bed so when I fall asleep the paperback book will be fine when it falls and hits the floor, a kindle maybe not so much.

I do the same...a lot (though I wil always deny it if MrsB accuses me of it). Kindle is remarkably tough..I have dropped it many a time...and it switches itsself off if you've not pressed any buttong for a little while. Switching it back on brings you back to the last page you were reading so that's no problem either.

I'm just not that struck on the idea of them tbh, I like a paper book. Plus it'd be a good idea to see if I even enjoy reading again before buying something to have a ton of books.

Yep, me too. I prefer to read a proper book, more so as I spend so much more time in front of a pc nowadays

I saw a documentary entitled "The two Escobars" which was about Pablo and Andreas (the footballer who scored the o.g in 94' world cup and was killed a few months later) it was pretty good.
It was part of the "30 for 30" ESPN series of docus, which have been in the main really well done. Admittedly a lot of them about US sports, but I was pleasently surprised by how good they were.

I don't mean for this too come over as crazy as it will but what the fuck.
I'm not going to post on blonde anymore, the reason being it's one of many things in my life that I need to fix. I love tikay to bits, and it's his site, and I didn't want to disappear without an explanation, not that I'm saying I matter but I'd hope 1 or 2 might wonder, I don't know him that well but I believe what he's said to me is genuine and I appreciate that so much. I'd typed out a really long pm to send him but then I deleted it because I was pissed, haha. Obv I'm pissed now but this is how I feel and I don't care who knows it so what the fuck. ( sorry for the language Fraser
)
The fact is, as I've alluded to previously, my life is a fukn mess, and there's people who are my family and friends who read this who I'd rather didn't but nevermind, I've never lied.
The truth is, I'm not like most people, I'm obviously going to come across as a martyr/arsehole when I say this but imo 90% of the population are fucking *****, and it's true. My Mam brought us up and she was the most loving and nicest woman in the world, too nice, and too soft. A few months ago, baring in mind I live in a slighty rough neighbourhood, somebody I know brought a transvestite into the bar with them, and one bloke who I know quite well took the piss, bit of banter etc etc, but... he was fukn genuine, he was out of order, but he was fair, everyone else, inc people I love and would die for, sniggerred, laughed and took the piss, WHY ?? how is that fair, but everyone thought it was funny, so I kicked off, they where saying the bloke taking the piss was out of order. I tried to explain to them they where so much worse, if that was me knowing everyone was sniggering at me I would be hurting a lot more than someone asking if I take it up the arse. I'm not trying to say I'm a saint, I don't understand why people would want to do that to someone, it's not fair.
But to be selfish, my whole point is, why is it any little niche in someone's armour, however big, people want to take advantage of it. Why do people have to be like that ? I could've easily been that person, just like you could have, why don't people understand that ? I don't think I'm stupid, as much as I sometimes play the fool, I'm intelligent enough to manipulate people, but I try to be myself, just it doesn't seem to work.
Now I'm not trying to call people out and say such and such is a twat etc etc but ( obv there's a but) I got invited to go to Vegas with the "shrewdies" they said you should come it'll be good etc etc as if I was mate so I thought cheers for asking me that'll be quality so I got the money together and went, a lot of money to me. Little did I no that none of them actually wanted me to go, sigh. So I spent everyday ringing them and getting blanked so basically was in Vegas on my own, am I really that much of a ***** that they had to do that ? Somedays they humoured me but overall they wanted fuk all to do with me. I would never do that to someone, the kid I mentioned who I had the aggro with, I'd only been on the drink with him twice but I was going on holiday and he said " that sounds like fun" so I said why don't you come along, and to my shock he did, and I never once let him feel like he wasn't welcome. But the reason I'm mentioning all that isn't to try and make people look bad: rich, bh, jones, trigg there all sound, my point is everyone in my life thinks that way about me. I was talking to me Dad about the shit last weekend and he jokingly said " your running out of friends son" haha, the truth is he's the only mate I have, literally, and fukn hell I love him more than is possible and I know he does me too, but it's quite depressing to think the only person that likes you is your own Dad.
Depression, that's a funny thing, I used to always think of people that said they where depressed, get a fukn grip, your lucky to have what you have etc etc, but funnily enough it doesn't work like that. Nevermind.
Anyway, so that's me everything out there and nothing to hide, oh and Cos did exactly the same to me as the "Shrewdies". Invited me toThailand but didn't really want me there, I wonder what it's about me ? Maybe it's this sort of shit hahahahaha, well I'm never going to change so nevermind, but I decided I didn't want to go through it again, love you Cos, he really is one of the good ones. At the end of the day I don't think I'm a bad person, I've never fucked someone over who didn't fuck me over 1st and so far I can to my grave knowing that's true. I'd fukn love to meet someone I could say the same about.

Stay on skype Ray - if you ever want a chat, just call. Do what you thinks best...and if you need some help, get it. Only thing I would say, is what we all choose to do can be a lonely life - I've been ta it 6 months, and tbh the one thing that worries me is the isolaation at times, I've noticed it more since splitting with Sian a week ago and its on my mind alot.
Thing is mate - you need non virtual relationships, I think the majority of people on here are sound - however until you cement proper relationships away from t'internet they're not real. Not going to preach, but my adice would be focus on some real life stuff away from the PC, the poker and the drink and you'll be just fine - you're one of the good guys

Take care if you do but hope to see you back soon.
