I finished down 670 today. I did manage to play 250 games though and felt fine to the end. I'm glad I did carry on and not just for SN, I would've been down about 1.7k if I hadn't have played those extra 50 so could've been much worse. I got nearly 1100 vpps today which is a little more than I expected, wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. To the finish I did over 13 hours grinding today.

Do you know what your long term ROI is in these games yet and roughly what you will make in the long run per month on average? Is your sample size big enough?
Just asking cus I'm playing a lot on party and trying to work out if I can predict what I may make over the course of a year if I play enough games.

Sample size definitely isn't big enough yet. The current no1 180 man player on ss has made $2.48 per game this year with an roi of 24%. Others lower on the leaderboard have made $3+ per game over a good sample. I think I could at least achieve a 15-20% roi and make $1.50-2 per game.

I'm thinking about doing a prop bet on it for next year, not for loads just for a bit of fun, it won't be enough to motivate me anyway. I'm thinking 40k games, which if I gave myself 6 weeks off would mean I'd have to average 870 games a week, which doesn't really sound a lot but; one, I'm ridic lazy (trying to fix that leak I have) and two, I doubt many sng grinders have put that much volume in this year.

I made a huge fuck up today
When I have some deep I move them into a 2nd pile, then if I have more than a couple I sometimes make a third pile for the most important one. So we have everything in top right corner, deep top left, most important bottom left. So I glance at the bottom left table and see Aces, mbn etc, so I sort a few other tables out and then look back at the bottom left and see it's on me and 2 ppl are all in, wiiiiiiiiiiii, so I snap call, then look at my hand again, oh fuck, for some reason I'd put the deep one's bottom left and the most important one top right and had just snapped off 13bbs with K5os vs a ep jam and a re jam with 15 left in a 3r, FMEL, up against A7 and A10 I was certain I was going to bink, but somehow didn't
This is the first time I've ever made this mistake and theres no question why it happened, the last part of the session was a proper grind and I was really tired. Such a rookie mistake to make, SN is important but it's stupid to grind if I'm not on it, I won't make the same mistake again.
PS. I got a walk with the Aces, run worse.

Another reason for continuing to grind was I was in a hole again after running like death in 15's, despite numerous chances I just couldn't manage any sort of decent result. I was again stuck around the 1.8k mark going through 200 games and I then managed to win a couple of 8's so hoped I might get out. I managed to final my last 15 coming into it 5/9 and with 8 left the internet decide it didn't want to work anymore, uhbgfiosnrfgofisamnoghnsfv, tried to fix it but it was having none of it, put the dongle in which worked and cameback with 5 left and <4bbs, gg. I then had one left, a 3r and was 8/41, now the dongle stops working, just lol. I comeback in time to lose AKvQQ sb v btn, sigh. Finished down -800, played 240 games.

Dongle's are a proper piece of shit, mine's with vodafone and is useless, this has been the only time I've needed it as backup and it fails when I'm 2 tabling, sure will be keeping it when the contract's up in April. I've used it a few other times and it's always been proper hard work.

What regular maintenance should I be doing with my computer ?
I only wiped it and reinstalled windows 7 on it a few months back but since playing sng's again Stars has been a little laggy at times and today it was even worse, I actual thought it had crashed at one point today. They only thing that I'm doing at the minute is disk defrag weekly ?
Cheers.

in that case, PC maint:
1. reg virus checking
2. reg malware checking - use malwarebytes.
3. reg registry cleaning.

Windows 7 doesn't need defragging
You should vacuum your HEM database, also get CCleaner and use the cleaner and the registry cleaner.
I've got a T-Mobile Pay as You Go dongle which does the trick. Just have to remember to use it at least once every three months to keep it activated. £2 a day when I use it and only cost £40, boom.
