Doctor Who Episode 2

An  idea stolen  from Discworld,   of a large Turtle carrying a world on its back

The clothes that dry clean themselves in minutes after being soaked in whale vomit

and the script reversed to give the companion the solution and the Doctor made to look like an idiot.

It would never had happened in a Russell T Davies script.

Far too many mistakes in this story BBC.

Hope the next episode is better

I thought that was so cool. Nothing wrong with referencing other things Smiley

The Doctor had a solution. Ok, not as good as the solution Amy had but it was a solution none the less. And Amy's solution was risky, whereas the Doctor's was pretty safe (well as safe as can be in these things lol). I read this as them showing us that the Doctor needs a human companion who can pick up on things that he himself might not. And something needs to be done to show Amy as a strong character.

It would never had happened in a Russell T Davies script.

No. He'd have introduced 5 random characters, killed them off, brought the entire ship to ruin followed by pressing a big button labelled deus ex machina to fix everything up.

Above.

ps, thank god Russell T Davies has nothing more to do with this show Smiley

Survivor in USA is a good series this one, also The Apprentice (celeb) is worth watching.

Celeb apprentice is great although all the dissappearances are a pain. Bill Goldberg, Bret Michaels and Maria Kanellis look strong contenders.

season 8 of The Apprentice was a great series , especially the Dennis Rodman episodes. Also very amusing when Annie Duke gets called a Nazi,a whore and compared to Hitler by Joan Rivers.

I've been told by a mate to watch:

1. Breaking Bad
2. Californication

this mate of mine loves Band of Brother, Entourage, Soprano's etc

are any of the two above worth it, I'm currently downloading seasons 1-3 of both programmes.
