Remote record ftw. (If you've actually got a job, obv, otherwise you'd be at home, and wouldn't need it).

Never seen Six Feet Under, it's starting with the first ever episode on Thurs, so going to give it a go.

Liking Boardwalk Empire so far, seems a great mix of serious and funny, though in fairness it looks like it may turn out to be more the Steve Buscemi show than the next Sopranos (Not that I have properly seen the Sopranos yet but I am going to start now this new channel has arrived).

Gonna see what all the fuss with 6 Feet Under was about too.

Sky Atlantic has proven something I thought for a while, which is that TV is the new movies. I have only seen a handful of movies in the last 5 years that compares to some of the great drama series that come out of the States.

why? did a middle aged science teacher who finds out he has a terminal disease start cooking up meth in a trailer?

Ha, nah just the first five minutes alone (great action scene) showed Itv and the like how to do an action drama unlike the recent pitiful effort "Kidnap And Ransom", the production team includes the writers/directors of 24, Lost and the new Die Hard and Star Trek sequels so its not gonna be pants really...

Michael Scott met David Brent last night. Made me happy to see them together.

Had read this spoiler before I had seen the episode Brent was in, I must say i was a tad disappointed that he was only in for that tiny part, seems a bit stupid that he just bumps into Michael Scott in a corridor in America?

Surely he could of had a more prominent role in a full episode?

I dont think it was sposed to be a big deal, just an in joke for the fans given that Steve Carell is leaving at the end of this series (I reckon 90% of the americans that watch it dont even know there was a British version). I would love it if Gervais came to the US version to replace Michael though
