Sigh. Married with Children not as good as I remember.

I few hilarious moments but absolutely crushed by new programs such as It's Always Sunny and The League.

Fake laughter and applause is tilting as hell!!

Al Bundy is still an absolute boss though.

This old skool talk reminds me of Roseanne and whether I should revisit it... memory says it was sharp and sassy at the time..or will it be a disappointment ?

I reckon that could be a big dissapointment, so many things are after this much time, I guess its a sign that comedy has evolved.

To be fair I think some of the kidz might like seasons 1 and 2 of Married with Children but after that you really need to love Al Bundy to stick with it.

Maybe we could get someone in their early twenties to d/l it and see what they think as a scientific experiment?

Anyone up for the task? http://www.kat.ph/married-with-children-season-1-ukb-rg-bingowingz-t5416162.html

Has Homeland been mentioned yet?  Just started watching it and it's great.  Bit like 24 but without our superhero Jack.  Got the guy from Band of Brothers in it.

I'm loving Mad Dogs even allowing for the slightly poor ending to the first series.

Yeah Homeland was great, looking forward to the next season.  October is going to be great with that and Dexter.

Luck starts soon on Atlantic.  I've a few others earmarked to watch too but may start with Firefly as it's highly rated but it's a shame it was only ever one season.

Just watched 1st series of Boardwalk Empire and half way through 2nd after reading ITT, excellent. Pretty gutted I already know ?? gets killed.

Talking of old shows, how about Sledgehammer? Loved this at the time, not sure how it would stand the test of time.
