Just completed Breaking Bad series 1 & 2. First 5 episodes of series 1 were a bit slow but series 2 is superb just acquired series 3 & 4 and will resume watching tonight.

Thanks to all who advised.

Homeland is boss.

Finished Homeland last night and it really is the best new TV series in years. For those who aren't downloadey people it starts on Channel 4 on Sunday.

Finished The Shield over the weekend. Not as good as the Wire but still really enjoyable.

I can get back to Boardwalk Empire now and get that finished at last then it's on to Californication.

Californication is a slight improvement on the Channel 5 films on a Friday night.

abs no idea what you mean by this as I doubt I've ever watched channel 5 on a friday night. checked this friday's tv guide and there's no films on so checked last friday and it would appear you think californication is a slight improvement on the last samauri

explain please, I'm completely lost

Channel 5 used to show softcore porn films on a Friday night, no wonder the teenagers of this world are running riot if this is no longer the case.

I just thing the story is pretty weak and although there are the odd com moments I just don't think it's that good.

Has anyone seen Friday night lights?

It starts this week on Sky Atlantic and I thought I might tune in.

I only watched it last year but watched it through twice in the space of 6 months I enjoyed it that much!!

It's one of my favourite shows ever, right up there with Sopranos and The Wire for me

By the sounds of things it is going to last a good while as you've missed the last 10years of TV whilst keeping the UK lapdancing economy afloat Cheesy
