I'd never really looked at the FX channel on Sky before (sin I know) but flicked past Family guy one night and noticed a couple of programs

If you liked Eastbound and Down, you may like Testees  It's on about 3am and I admit I only recorded it because of the name but it's silly like Eastbound/Sunny etc and worth a watch if you like that sort of thing.

Secondly I discovered Generation Kill - It's an HBO production based on the invasion of Iraq in 2003.  I'm only a couple of episodes in and am finding it a brilliant watch.  If you liked Band of Brothers, I'd suggest this.

Watched 'The Take' last night, a 4 part series which was on Sky back in 2009 starring Tom Hardy. Have to say I think it's my favourite work of his that I've seen and definitely worth watching if you haven't seen.

I can't speak highly enough of that man. He really could be Oscar material, especially now he's getting big roles.

Hugh Laurie might be back on the screens sooner rather than later too

'In what would be a major casting coup for NBC, the network is in talks with former House star Hugh Laurie to topline new action-adventure series Crossbones, from Luther creator Neil Cross and feature producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald.
