Just got through both seasons of Homeland, I heard loads of negativity towards season 2 but I thought both were excellent. Reminds me of 24

Same as that, not sure what was irking everyone so much early on in the season and really annoyed at such a long wait for season 3!

Hey tv gurus

Just finished season 2 of breaking bad. I find it brutal and uncomfortable to watch but people tell me to stick with it

Thoughts?

Now I like Breaking Bad, but I'm not totally overwhelmed by it in the way some are. That said, I do think it's a very good show and I would definitely persevere with it for sure!

One thought I can guarantee is that you'll be wondering why Walt hasn't slotted his mrs pretty soon Cheesy

I'm really struggling with Boardwalk Empire. Last episode I saw the other day (have the latest series saved on sky+) - trying not to spoil any plots - saw Nucky get a delivery of a large wooden box at 4 in the morning.

It's essentially all sex and stupid plots and I'm losing patience with it tbh. The writers' decision to explain everything in absurd detail and the repetitive subplot of "Gyp Rosetti is a sociopath and does irrational and violent things to innocent people" is beyond annoying. Did the American audience decide season two was too quick for them?!

Will tough out the remaining three episodes but then I suspect I may be done with the show.

This guy too

Great actor and normally steals the show in most things he is in.

Will always say "The Shield" in this spot...

Drop the Dead Donkey box sets for some well-crafted satire.

For some really well-crafted satire, The Day Today and Brasseye specials.

Seen Deadwood, have watched a lot of The Shield, think that sounds like the answer, restart season 1

Yes, have heard it's worth the hype, but that might just be the hype talking.

I'll be giving it a go, anyway.

The trailer looked promising, will file that in with Touch, Elementary  and Person of Interest to watch once the season is complete.
