Homeland however... hate the episodes focused on her..
Gotta agree..just a tedious story line

Homeland threatens to pick up now though with the most recent plot development (I've already seen this week's episode)

Really getting into The Wire as my way of adjusting to life without Breaking Bad. I'm two seasons in and it's great so far.

Perhaps the most fun part is seeing actors you know from other shows who clearly made their name on the Wire first.

The Wire is incred, and was probably my favourite show until the Sopranos reclaimed top spot.

Fave characters so far?

McNulty, Greggs, Lester - actually all the main cop good guy team.

Stringer Bell obvs

Omar

I'm early into season two but looking forward to when Ziggy inevitably gets himself killed (no spoilers please but how can he live the whole season?)

McNulty is from Sheffield in real life.

So far the Wire probably has the best gay and lesbian character I've seen on TV.

Probs only of interest to those with kids under 5 but 'Ben and Holly' currently has an advert for it's tv programme in the style of the opening credits for Game of Thrones

Yeah, Stringer and Omar were mine too, until the later seasons anyway, and love me some Bunk too.

Haha, had forgotten about Ziggy Cheesy

I didn't realise he was english until I saw him in an interview and I was just wtf?

We're enjoying Homeland in my household, got very good last week and this weeks was pretty good too.  I can't help but feel nothing has actually happened yet, but it's gripping stuff.
