It's incred when they rock up to Egypt and Posca is a full blown hippy Yeah, they obviously cost so much that the nits won't lump out for more episodes. ya it was with the bbc and they outlayed so much, hence why it's so brilliant to watch. THIRTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN

THIRTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN Such an epic scene when Pullo irons all the gladiators out, and then Vorenus dives in at the last second to save him from the end of level boss.

posca ftw baby.
Loved Rome, cant get enough of the hedgehog fighting formations and discipline. Even the credits are enjoyably to watch.
Similar to Deadwood in that it's such a shame they didn't get to make more seasons.
Gold Fever is a now series from Discovery. Set in the same era as Deadwood, might not have similar storylines but might still suit Deadwood fans.

Apologies if this has been mentioned but 24 is back.
12 episodes so you can "see" the end of the plot from hour 1, and far more time for the writers to create a plausible plot not something so typically back & forth.
Interested.

When's 24 due out, do you know? There's nothing on IMDB yet.

Man Down by Greg Davies on Channel 4 is a pretty hilarious comedy, would defo recommend.
Sadly I'm a bit late to the party so it's only available on 4od for another three days.

Uncle on BBC 3 stars Nick Helm and could be truly great based on the first episode.
In contrast, the Vic n Bob thing has been removed from the Chez3103 'Planned Recordings' list.
Top new show recently though has to be Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe. His take on the Romanian/Bulgarian immigrants issue and on Benefits Street display the sheer genius of the man.

Hope you've watched his other stuff. Newswipe, gameswipe, how TV ruined your life and the original Screenwipe.
