Having heard that the likelihood of films to pick up where the show left off, I've been rewatching Deadwood. Forgot how incredible it was. Just finished binge watching season 1. Diving into season 2 ASAP

Yes, it went very odd at the end, one of the few TV shows I watch, record then watch again a few days later though.

Yes, I enjoyed it. Has the man from Homeland in it ( the ginger haired one). Not the greatest of all time but watchable.

I watched the first one and it wasn't terrible but it didn't grab me enough to watch any more.

Finished Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy last week and now half way through Smiley's People. I expect you remember them Tighty?

I've just signed to to Amazon Prime and am browsing through the TV programs.  There's a Mad Dogs on there, it looks like a US version of ours.  Has anyone seen it, is it a copy?

Pretty much exactly the same but different actors and set in a different location if I remember rightly.

Not great but worth a watch if only to make comparisons to the original.

Channel 5 tonight at 9pm has Penguin A&E with Lorraine Kelly.

Seriously?

Really disappointed with the first episode of "new" Top Gear. Was so geared up to like it as well.

What a great chance to rip up the formula and create something new and exciting. Instead, the show looks exactly the same, two thirds of the episode is spent rehashing the same old challenges and there is very little actual interesting engaging car chat.

I thought Matt LeBlanc was actually OK but couldn't get on with Chris Evans at all. Needs to tone it back a bit.

I found large parts of the episode just plain boring. Will stick with it but expected so much more than that. Zero imagination or creativity.

Also, don't keep harping back to the old show! Constant comments, the catering intro, "we got custody of the Stig", "On that Bombshell..." etc. All that does is remind us, the audience, that we would rather be watching the old gang. I am not a fanboy of the Clarkson mob but they made that format work so do something fresh.

Will give it a couple more episodes I guess.

Just watched the last episode of Banshee.

A fine and suitable ending to one of the best programmes I have ever seen(if you enjoy that sort of stuff).

Ended before it lost it, but will be seriously missed nonetheless.

Anyone else watching Preacher? I like it.

Was slightly disappointed with season 3 Peaky B. Hopefully they have some better ideas for season 4.

Doesn't seem to be much on atm.
