ok what do people prefer? (this is a rush hand but i dont think it matters)

1. getting them in here (is that playing too scared?)
2. flatting - then leading (to a non improved board)
3. flatting -  then check calling (on boad board)
4. flatting  - then check raising on good river?

Just get it in - he either has a made hand, set or slowplayed AA/KK and will call or he has a draw and prob won't bluff the river if he misses (because by calling you are repping a made hand).

btw I really don't think QJo is a prpfitable utg raise if full ring.

fold pre, bet bigger on flop, get it in on turn- no need to slowplay with no reads

what are you trying to acheive betting 40% of the pot apart from pricing in the fd?

flop needs to be bigger, there is tons he can peel with, we have the nuts....... re-raise turn.

edit it also matters that it's rush because it's a different game type. deffo fold pre.

i flopped the schnizzles - im happy to build the pot here

what if the guy has flopped a set?

i just dont think it is terrible - ok i can bet more - but do you really think he is folding if i bet 70% of the pot? I am also happy for him to raise any hand where he thinks I am weak leading

ii just dont think the word terrible was necessary

yeah, soz missed out half of my reply. please read it as

what are you trying to acheive betting 40% of the pot that betting bigger doesn't achieve apart from pricing in the fd?

you're right that you want to build the pot so build it, don't drip feed it

I prefer betting $3 on A84 rainbow than on this board. The reason you bet bigger is because opponents that call $3 will always call $5 on these boards, and you are v unlikely to induce bluff raises at these stakes, on this board in rush poker- so just bet big and get the maximum from his calling range which consists of a bundle of combos that he aint folding

So are you bet sizing dependent on hand strength or board texture?
