I dont think only options are Shove/fold. 13.8k and calling it off is better than shoving imo, and I definitely dont think calling pre is as bad as you will all think.

With no dynamics I prob just fold, assuming u probably not got out of line much at all either

if you've 3bet him off his own hands more than once since you've been at the table then you do have a dynamic going imo

Given their table postions its unlikely that these confrontations have been steal/resteal.  Unless hero has been opening in ep a lot, I can't see the previous action as a reason why villain wouldn't think hero has a hand.

thats where it gets complicated plan was to put in 10k on flop

he would only have 20k back so it means bet calling or bet folding

as i said that was plan

what actually happened is i forgot the plan and checked min raised on the 4 high flop and he folded

Well bet folding would be terrible, bet calling would be good, 4b pre would be best.

It's free to enter for you, doubt it was free to enter for the whole field, if it was i want my $215 back

No. Just like if you went on to win you shouldn't spend the money any differently.

Never peeling 7.5bb 3bets OOP myself. Look into 'reverse implied odds' if you need an explanation. Prefer the bet-call on this board once you have though, try to induce the bluff shove from missed AK hands cos you're going broke to bigger pairs whatever.

James please explain reverse implied odds so I don't have to look it up

but surely if the fpps used for this have a monetary value the fpps used in the takedown also have value
after all i could use the to enter another 215$ event in future
