right, can someone post me in the right direction of a hotel nearish the train station/dtd. cheap as possible as litrally wont be in there at all. ktb.

Hopefully, although I would imagine it depends if Graham is 10000 miles away or not...

I've just had to look up the HU thread from last time to remember which of the 6 last minute substitutes for the last position ended up playing. Oh yeah, Stallyon so it was. Don't drink alcohol, kids, it's very bad for your short term ... erm...

Pitch & Putt at Woodthorpe park FTW. Then again, not actually done that for about 20 years, but I think it still exists.

Now that is a really good idea.

Woodthorpe Park pitch and putt is a decent 18 hole layout with all of the holes between 50 and 125 yards.

You can just bring or rent a couple of clubs and a putter and they don't mind if you go and play ten-handed.

would that be any good? I don't know what it's called i've just seen it

I've pre-reserved the Holiday Inn at a half decent flex rate as a backup but will book once I know where everybody else is staying.
