Shawcross starts going for the ball but if you notice he bumps into an Arsenal player on the way meaning that Shawcross loses a bit of steam, because of this he was slightly late on the ball. I don't think that the tackle deserves a red.

From the angles i have seen of this , i dont think it was a red, i think the ref felt obliged to send him off once he seen the leg was broke, to me Shawcross seems like a decent kid and genuinely looked disturbed at what happened, its just unfortunate thats all, i have definitely seen far worse this season, for instance pienaar i think it was put a horror tackle in on Mascherano a couple of weeks ago(Masch is no angel i know), took the shinpad clean off him. As for Sol Campbell i deffo wouldnt blame him for his reaction either, totally understandable imo he just got carried away in the heat of the moment, Heres hoping Ramsey makes a full and speedy recovery

After a decent day yesterday i'm just going to have Villa to win on penalties.
Might get on Everton depending on the Spurs team. I heard they've all got a virus.

I dont think the tackle was malicious. I dont think Sawcross meant to do it and I think that Ridgewell tackle in the Blues games yesterday in the corner was probably worse. I cant beleive that people are saying that Arsenal's players reactions got him sent off. They have obviously never played in a game when someone has been seriously injured.
Ramsey is just a kid,19 FFS.
Hopefully Aaron will recover from this as this season he was starting to look like a real class act, possibly a replacement for Cesc at some point.

Yeh i don't think it was the players i think the ref saw his leg snapped and thought it must have been a bad tackle.

7/2 Villa in most places will do me. Although you can't eat value, that's good value I think

Celtic have 5 players making their OF debut including 3 of the back 4 which is not good. Our CHs are 18 and19!!! Rangers at full strength but don't need to win. Celtic have a very attack minded line up and I think over 2.5 goals at anything over evens is the bet if you have to have one. I have had a small bet on Fortune for 1st goal as 8/1 is too big.

im on villa bandwagon also. Boughera is going to get sent off too, but havnt got a bet on that yet.
in regards to Shawcross, unintentional but still definitely a red card.
