Hi all
Its sad that I am having to write this, but due to unforeseen circumstances I am having to find a new home for Cassie. She is a great dog, with a great tempermant for a loving owner. She is great with kids and any other dogs.
She has become a couch potato over the last few months and just loves being around her owner. Please if anyone is interested let me know on here/pm and any questions also fire away. Need to find someone rather quickly that I can trust to give her a good home as I don't want to give her to the greyhound trust or whatever...
Thanks
Edit
Hi All,
What started out as an exchange of a truly loved dog has evolved into more than what was originally intended. Cassie has become a part of our family and will still be included as such in posts. She's adored by us and many on blonde and that'll will never be ignored.
But she's not the only member of my family and since the thread has grown to include 'the lot', it has been agreed the title of this thread should be changed too. Hope you enjoy!
Laxie
xx

I'd snap her up in a heart beat if you lived closer. Sigh.

Rooks - sorry you have to let her go, she's a cracking dog but glad you've found a good home for her.
Laxie - congrats on your new dog. She's fab!

Yes exactly Greyhound Transporters travel every week to England/Ireland and it would't be a problem. I have a number of a N Irish Transporter if youse need it.
And good luck Rookie getting her re homed.

well home has been found and arrangements have been made.
rooks is in spain so muggings here has been left with the dirty job of dropping her off and saying the goodbyes, im gona have a tear in my eye when i drop her tomorrow.
her old trainer has arranged for her to be transported to ireland to be rehomed with laxie and she should be there sometime on saturday. the journey might be a bit daunting for her but it will be worth it in the end.
im sure she will have a fantastic new life in ireland with dawn and dawn is getting a fantastic dog.
when we started out with our greyhound adventure just under 3 years ago i never would have thought that within 3 years we would have one wonderful greyhound dead and another beautiful greyhound being rehomed. its a sad day :-(

Sad day, but she'll be happy in Ireland. She's a star is that Laxie.

Tank's right, while it's sad she'll be happy (if a bit confused at first in the madhouse) and well taken care of. Respect to the ITB boys for making a tough decision & thinking of Cassie's best interests first & to Laxie, Tim & co for giving her a home.

Was no easy task for the Lads to sort her transport, but really looking forward to her arrival now! We've already got an Old English Sheepdog named Lily (she's 11), a cat named Rocky, a lizard and a turtle...plus 3 teen agers.
Will be a lively spot for Cassie, but hopefully she'll enjoy it and us. Promise to post plenty of pics once we get her settled. Thanks for giving us the chance Lads! xx
