On a flop of  , Stuart Langford bets out 450. 2 players pass, with Adam Wilkinson making the call. He then looked back at the flop and jokingly exclaimed "Is it all hearts? As I wandered past table 15, Hassan Irfan was sat there with his 3150 stack in the middle with the board reading three diamonds . Zahir Aslam had called only to see Nuri Bayraktar re-shove for another 7k on top. Zahir reluctuantly passed and Nuri flipped over for flopped trips. Hassan's A-Q was miles behind and he was shaking hands and leaving the table afer the turn. The river was a meaningless and Hassan departed stage left.

Matt Russell has lots of chips. 38,125 to be precise. He also has an interesting table, with Dewi James in seat , Paul "m3boy" Garnham in seat 3 and Michelle "HOLDorFOLD" Gascoine in seat 4. As you can imagine, there's quite a bit of chatter down on table 14.

James Brunskill has less chips. 16,700 this time. That and a bowl of chips next to him. (These may or may not be his, I didn't ask)

Travelling around the tables again, there's a lot of raise/fold preflop at the moment. If we do see a flop, quite often a bet is good enough to take it down.

One hand did manage to go the distance though; 4 players saw a Two Clubs flop, with Nick Hicks check/calling a 600 bet from whom I believe to be Keith Littlewood. They saw the turn heads up, and both checked. Nick then bet 2800 on the river, with Keith tank-calling and folding with a deep sigh when Nick showed him for a turned 2 pair.

Trevor Reardon just eliminated Gerard Murphy. Trevor had raised to 850 preflop, only for a short-stacked Gerard to put his last 6575 chips in. Trevor made the call, and was happy to see his 9-9 absolutely dominating Gerard's 5-5. However, domination clearly wasn't enough here, as the dealer instantly dealt a 9 as the door card on the flop for a set. He then peeled back the 4th 9 for flopped quads! Gerard ruefully smiled as he headed for the exit door, leaving Trevor to happily rake in the 13k pot.

Action on Table 14, aka Table Blonde/Ex-Blondes, aka Table Chipped Up

Three handed pot involving Paul Garnham and chipleaders Matt Russell and Andrew Mosdell

Paul is allin preflop and ends up tripling through with QQ against the AK of Andrew.  Matt folded to Andrew's post flop bet.

Paul upto 10k

Stuart Langford has just spotted us and handed Leigh a napkin. Not that Leigh needs a napkin. It has information on a hand, so here goes.

Blind on blind, Adam Wilkinson raises to 1050 from the SB, with Ramzi Abbassi calling from the BB. The flop is K-Q-x. Adam checks, and Ramzi picks up a random amount and says 'this much", only for Adam to grab about 15k and beat him into the pot, saying "no, THIS much!" Ramzi tanks, then says "too much in the pot, I'm all-in" and Adam snaps!

Adam: K-Q
Ramzi: J-10

The dealer then deals the turn, which, predictably, is a 9. Adam fails to re-draw on the river and Ramzi scoops the pot, leaving Adam with 225 chips. He's now out.

I was standing by table 11 when Sunil Mistri raised it up to 1475 over a Kevin Bloor limp. Alex Jobling calls and Kev comes along. The flop is  , and Kev checks. Sunny dwells, then bets 3275 into the 5575 pot. Alex thinks for a few seconds, then confidently moves his remaining 17kish into the pot. Kev gets out of the way and Sunny sighs and calls.

Alex:
Sunny:

The dealer produces a  turn as Sunny shakes his head at the thought of having Aces cracked for the second time today. A wry smile from me only for the dealer to then turn the river. Which was none other than the  , leaving Alex stunned and Sunny letting out a small cry of delight. Sunny just had Alex covered and cruelly, Alex Jobling heads for the exit door.
