Hi All

This is our Super 50 weekend.

Today so far we have 222 players creating a prizepool of £11,100 and a first prize in excess of £3,500 .

The new 30 minute clock , up from 24 minutes is proving popular with the players who, with 10,000 chips and our festival structure now get to play the same tournament as our 20:20 for half the reg fee !

Tomorrow on Mothers Day it gets even better as in addition to the £10,000 guaranteed we are adding an entry to the Poker Stars UKIPT event being held here in May. So the winner tomorrow will also receive an entry worth £560 !

We open at 2pm and the tournament starts at 3pm.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

I'll be going too. I'm not perturbed by it being £60, just want to know, as the tour's official site says £50.

As far as i know we have agreed £500 + £60 .

If it turns out to be £500 + £50 we will give the winner the extra £10 for food / drinks.

Cheers

20/20's finish about 4am mate, sometimes later.

Not ideal for work in the morning.

I too preferred the 2pm start for similar if not the same reasons.

In fact i do feel that it is hurting the Sunday legs of these weekend mini-fests.

12 start with shorter breaks on Sunday would pull the punters in imo
