um well he f%**ed over his wife and kids by going with about a gazillion pornstars/hookers/mistresses which was displayed to billions of people worldwide. He lives at home with his close family facing them on a day to day basis-having recently been allowed back home- I think mentally his head will be "up his ar$e" from my medical term...obviously golf is as much a mental game as anythin.

would be pretty sociopathic if whats happened had not affected him mentally.

If I did this I'd be buzzing like fuck, did you see some of the birds he was with, and some of the shit they go up to?

After typing that and thinking about it, I might go in again! The guy should be on cloud 9!

I love it Dave, i bet thats exactly how he did feel before he got caught. The press conference tonight should give us a decent insight into his well being or lack of it.

It is interesting to see how this develops.

The last few times Tiger has played golf he has been distant, prone to tempur tantrums and very off with the media.
It is quite possible that he was bricking it with the knowledge that it was only a matter of time before it all came out.

with his problems now out in the open it may take some of the pressure off?

This press conf later will reveal a lot

The only time Tiger missed a cut in a major was after his father died

[  ] you appear to have a clue what you are talking about.

your right he missed the cut at last years open as well my point was that his mental state in my opinion will be similar to june 2006 when he missed the cut at winged foot. hope im wrong for the sake of your bet though.
oh and i have played golf since i was 10 and played competiviely as a teenager against/with 5 or 6 guys who went on to be touring professionals 3 of them tour winners.

I look forward to this every year and this year is going to be better than ever with all the hype around Tiger.

I can't decide whether to have £20 or £40 on Tiger though!

Might have a coulpe of quid on Poulter and KJ Choi too

I started with £30 at 5.6, then topped up another £20 at 6.0, then another £20 at 6.2!

Price is just to tasty!!

Clearly he will triple bogey the first now tho.

I have just done 20 quid for now and ill c how it gets on.

good luck

I did like this.

He made his first full public appearance since mid-November on Monday at Augusta National, and while he has been out of the mix for a while, the photo array in the possession of a security guard assigned to his group did not contain his mugshot.

You can't tell these players without a scorecard, and in this case, players isn't a term being used to describe the 97 competitors.

As Woods played his practice round, a woman camped near the fifth tee was approached by a member of Woods' considerable security detail and was asked, "Ma'am, are you the stripper?"

The woman looked at the guy like he had a 3-iron growing out of his forehead. Thus, the security guard reached in his pocket and produced a sheet containing the color mugs shots of Woods' alleged mistresses, who are clearly on his watch list. It was a rogue's gallery, indeed.

"We've just got to be extra careful," the guard told the woman.

She wasn't quite sure how to react. But it was hard to view the inquisition as flattering.

"I'm not sure how to feel yet," she told a TV producer who watched the entire episode.

Welcome to the 2010 Masters, Year of the Tiger, where at least one security guard has a list of American's least-wanted. Four-plus months since he struck his last competitive golf shot, Woods faced the fans and the global media and came away surprised and gratified that he wasn't Public Enemy No. 1.

poulter, brian davis and i was taught by phil golding who won the french open a few years back dont play so much anymore stilll a fairly solid 5 though, was 2.6 at my best but i could compete with the scratch players without to many problems, Brian was different gravy though i remember playing the county under 21's in a gale i shot 2 over in the morning and was met by brian after my round and he asks me how i did so i said 73 he starts telling what a great round that was and how not many people will beat that yada yada, so my chest is all puffed out my head is swelling and i ask him how he did... he points to the 1st says see those trees down the left i hooked it in there tried to play out and fresh aired it chipped out knocked it on 2 putted for a double bogey six great start huh, not the best say i so what ya shoot oh 67 it was at precisely this point i knew i would never play golf for a living i just couldnt comprehend shooting 67 in thoose conditions after starting with a 6 Brian turned pro about 2 weeks later and has been a money making machine pretty much ever since.

Didnt see the press conference flushy no was he asked any awkward questions ? his state of mind would worry me if i had a bet on him he gets a lot of his edge in this department  but his lack of tournament preperation would worry me more still i guess thats built into the price. looking forward to thursday will be interesting to say the least.
