wow i may be a massive wanker but I'm glad my parents brought me up to not be a complete dousche towards others. I would definitely look to two people who looked like they most needed the seats and offered them at no cost.

Only circumstance I'd say no is if someone who looked like a tramp/smelt/was a weirdo came and asked.

This! As long as they had tight jeans and double d's!

you don't use public transport much do you giiiiiirdlestones...

So ridiculously selfish. I can't imagine anyone ever doing this in this situation, just unreal.

Pretty low to block seats when other people need to sit down imo. You have bought the right to offer them to who you want though. The most needy person might not be the most fun or interesting person, and that's something to consider on a long journey.

It pisses me off when people are arsey and make people move because that's THERE reserved seat when there's loads of empty seats but this is just ridiculous,Sure wouldn't have kicked off if I had've had to stand and someone did this.

And this behaviour would be better than their behaviour?

so you're the dick that sits in my seat even though it says reserved and you can see all the other empty seats? that really annoys me.

when I get a reservation it's because I want forward facing with a table and power point near the luggage rack so I can keep an eye on my bag with all the thieving bastards nicking my bag. think I have every right to tell someone to gtfo of my seat

why should I take another random seat because you're in my one?

Were you there for the start of the debate Keith? It wouldn't take much of someone being a twat to start me off and make me say fuck off to anyone having the seats (if i was in the seats).

What a total couple of dousches, i would have of taken photos of them and done my best to irritate them the whole way.

What type of people were they? age group etc?

I had a seat. I was about 3 groups of seats further down the carriage. It was only 5 minutes before the train left Kings X it suddenly got mega busy.

They were in their early 30's and the guy certainly looked like he might be a bit handy if it came down to it.

It just happened that noone in the vicinity lost their temper enough for it to kickoff.

I'm not sure I could have kept calm if I didn't have a seat.

I thought they were joking at first, but it soon became appaent they were serious. I think they were unbelieveably selfish.

Have we give our seats to 2 hot chicks yet?

lol, no. We decided that however hot these two chicks would be, we would still ultimately have zero percent chance of scoring them. We then mused that it would be much better entertainment EV to get a 30 year old bloke with a racingpost under his arm for a chat over crooked italian footy. or chompy's column.
