Evening all!

So lady luck has struck and I've had a nice little poker winnings of £1000 (and some pennies), I've always thought if I had a spare £1000 (agreed, there is no such thing) that I would try and steal some money from some tiny tiny odds (1.20, 1.10) and build up a little (tiny) bankroll....

I basically wanted to ask the best way to go about this (besides 'don't' which is the definate response i'm getting) I've had my extreme badbeats having £98 putting £50 of it on 1.07 to get it over £100 just to lose it all when some tennis man dies and loses everything (f*** you Verdasco, set and a break up!!) Have any of you guys done this and had any success, or is it doomed for failure?

Any thoughts and feelings are most welcome..

Cheers

Surely the secret to successful betting or bookmaking is the calculate the true odds and then add a 10% profit margin.

Given the number of 1/1000 shots you see come in I doubt that the odds people give against these supposedly 'certain' events are correct.

I would suggest you would be better investing the £1,000 in other ways.

Bad idea.

Keep £800 and use a bottle for a roll to have value bets.

i'm no expert but i'd say bj and MH are something like 95%+ to win anderson a little bit less. i've got a massive $25 on the triple Smiley

dave, the only reason gracie has been given this fight is cos he taught BJJ to the prince geezer who bought into the UFC and is hosting this event. he is not fit to be in the same cage as hughes and we've already seen this fight when he fought his brother.

Are you into horses? money to be made laying outsiders that can't possibly win(wrong trip, wrong ground ) then sit on the £1000 just in case one does win. It takes a bit of commitment  but you can win.
