Ive taken 3/1 Steven Lee to beat Maguire, two not to trust for obvious reasons but maybe Maguire might be downbeat after hearing he looks set to be prosecuted in the match fixing investigation. At least Steven Lee is still free!

So far had a nibble on the following:

1pt ew Ali Carter@33/1

1pt ew Mark Allen@20/1

Both seem to have reasonable draws and seem slightly overpriced. Shame these prices weren't available with skybet as they have an ew first 4 market. Will see if there's any value in that particular market although the prices don't seem great.

I used to follow it very closely but not these days. I love it and will watch most of the tv stuff but other things have taken priority.

Some years I took a season ticket for the World championships but with the red button letting us watch both tables at once it make more sense to stay at home and watch em both.

Are you a fan mate?

Yeah, only been 3 times to Crucible tho, last time about 3 years ago, did manage to be there for Williams' 147 v Milkins in '05 I think...

Used to play a fair too, till poker took over  Cheesy

I don't bet the outright on snooker much but Ryan Day looks great value for a decent run at 60/1.

i'm putting a bit on wenbo to, he's quality but hes got ronnie in the first round so he's a big price.

definitely lay ding i think, he just never performs at the crucible.

£20 Robertoson @ 13.5
£10 Hendry @ 55
£5 Carter @ 32

Plus some pre tourney trades on Holt, Greene and Pettman which i have greened out on for profits between £200 and £300 but not expecting too much out of these!!!

Also backed Doherty + 3.5 frames v Selby @ 2.0

How can he play so bad after probably being the form player this season?  If Campbell plays well he leads 7-2/6-3
