A sickener, but it has to be said there is very little quality (on today's evidence) in the Wednesday team at all. Ambrose was different class today, at times
Lets hope Irvine shakes things up in the Summer, and you can have a good run at the top two straight away next year. Leicester and Norwich have shown it can be done

It was very hit and hope and really i'm surprised we scored 2. Can't really grumble at not winning. At one point we had 5 players playing as strikers and they must have all been less than 10m apart. Will be interesting to see who goes. Jeffers is a cert and Clarke probably would have gone if we'd stayed up but he actually may do well in League One and has done before. Pretty sure Grant will be sold.
Ambrose was brilliant. Must be nice to be able to afford a player like him.....oh wait
There's always another season

anyone see the CP player who had his shirt ripped off and that guy in the hat trying to punch him in the back of the head??
Unreal, also the Palace player was trying to shake off the attentions of the steward too, then Dougie Freedman (I think) calls a halt to the BBC interview to protect the players.

Just so relieved that is all over and we are still in the CCC.
Those last 8 minutes were the longest i have ever known at a football match, it seemed like wave after wave of attack, free kicks, corners, long throws, dont think i could have taken much more.
Absolutely tremendous support from Palace, so loud throughout and didnt stop singing. Wednesday were loud when they scored for a few minutes but apart from that was quite surprised how little they got behind their team.
2 down sides - the idiot steward that was popping everyones ballons pre kick off, including confiscating a full bag of balloons from a kid who must have been about 10 - he didnt have as much luck 10 minutes before kick off when it was packed and everyone just keep knocking them away from him.
And also the crowd trouble, the biggest disapointment for me was that we couldnt celebrate with the players. I partly blame the police for letting the handful of palace supporters onto the pitch in the first place, but the reaction of the wednesday fans was totally out of order - especially towards Clint Hill. I mean 50 blokes or more chasing a footballer that had spent time consoling your players down the tunnel - WTF!!!
As we left the ground thousands of wednesday fans had come round to the palace end and it was taking police on horses to keep them back. Quite a scary experience when you have your 11 year old son with you. Jackets zipped up, scarfs tucked away, made the walk to the car, passing scuffles, arrests and 1 bloke who saw a car with a palace sticker in the back and told his mate to throw a brick through the window!!!
Just glad to get out of there and on the way home.
Now the real battle starts to get someone to buy the club so we will still be here next season.

What was out of order was palace fans running onto the pitch to rub it in our faces, everyone of them deserved to me put on their arses.

Thats bollocks mate - they ran on the pitch to celebrate with the players - not one of them was 'rubbing it in' to your supporters.
At no point during the game did we sing anything towards your fans taking the piss for you going down.

there was certainly a bit of both. I hate any fans who go onto the pitch, they have no right to be there.

Away fans on the pitch are almost always going to incite trouble.

A lot depends on whether a takeover happens in the next couple of weeks. If not then players are going to have to be sold and Ambrose will be one of those likely to move on. He has 1 year left on his contract as far as i know and there is no reason to believe he would want to move unless he is told he has to.
His goals return for a midfielder has been exceptional but he would be about 5th on the list of players i would hate to be sold.
