that and the Dutch keeper may be out of the Final.
?? where does this come from?
Apologies seens like it was a false alarm.

Same report on goal.com and yahoo sports. They all seem to come from a report from NUsport. I checked NUsport and today they're reporting that despit hip and back pain he should be fit for the final.

If you're betting on the top goalscorer, remember that the 3rd/4th place playoff counts, and that could become a goalfest if both teams think 'sod this' and don't concentrate on defending a great deal. Forlan, Klose and Mueller are all on 4 goals.

fair point, I can't see anyone caring enough about it though Forlan might give it a good shot...Uruguay could easily win this as they must be happier finishing 3rd than the Germans will.

Klose will surely want to score for the all time record scorer?

As a bet BTW; Sneijder and Villa are both on 5 goals. Golden boot betting has Villa (who is just an outfield player and who will have several people on him) @4-6 and Sneijder (Who takes our free kicks and penalties) @3-1. Surely there's a bit of value there?
Surely Holland (Now unbeaten in 25 matches and having won the last 9 or 10) are also too big @ 11-4 and there should be money coming for them on the last day making this a decent trading opportunity?
I am obviously biased but I'll take 2-1 Holland @ 14-1 and draw-Holland @ 15-2..bit of value there, me thinks.
Spain deserve to be favourites as, on paper, they are the class act...but our record can't be ignored, I think. Especially sine V Bommel and De Jong will be on Xavi and Iniesta and make their life very very difficult indeed.
I thought if the topscorers tie they both win, so surely 3-1 on WS is huge considering Villa just need to not score for WS to win via a tie?

Not tie-breaker at half odds?

tie is a deadheat isn't it? stake divided by the number of people who tie.
So if Klose, Muller and Forlan all get to 5 it won't be good news.

FML someone told me if they tie, both win!
so what happens to my bet if neither player score and both finish on 5 goals, and spain win?
i have Spain/villa double @ 16/1?

If both WS and DV finish on 5 you half your stake and get 16/1.
If Klose, Muller or Forlan get to 5 your stake would get divided further.

The bet would be settled as if you had half as much on it as you did.
