I just thought i'd put in there that on the Sunday in Nottingham its the dot to dot festival. This may of been mentioned already. Great day/night out with some great bands.

The line ups all here http://www.dottodotfestival.co.uk/nottinghamlineup2010.htm

Spread over a number of venues in Nottingham, just as a few of you will be up/down there anyways, if you were hanging till Sunday might be worth getting involved in this.

That's the point, they're all up-and-coming bands that you probably haven't heard before.  One or two have 'made it' as recognised acts, but many are still looking for that break.

Leeds had a similar sounding event a few weeks ago called Live at Leeds. Was an awesome day.

Mystery Jets are pretty decent, would like to pretend I'd heard of more even though they are 'up and comings'

Well, that's one more than I'd heard of!!  Have only heard of Ellie Goulding (think that's her name) as have seen her on telly recently.  Not that impressed, so don't plan to include her in my dot2dot schedule!  Last year there were a few more bands that I'd at least heard of before the day.  Somehow managed to miss Mumford & Sons who I think are excellent now I've heard their stuff since then, sigh.

'Tis a great day though, and a whole range of bands so that there's something for everyone.  Unless you're into manufactured, x-factor bollocks.

I know Sad  I'd probably pay to go and see them headlining a small gig now.

Blood Red Shoes are awesome, starting to make a name for themselves. Rox is also going to big soon me thinks. Will post a couple more.

Its not their strongest line up, but it beats a day sat inside with a pack of cards.  Cheesy

Would loved to have Los Campesinos! too.

So have you got a schedule? Which venues are you going to and what does it clash with on the blonde bash? And why is blonde a spelling mistake on here

Can Kinbo post spreadsheets on here? That would be the easiest way to share the schedule. Or just pm me your email address Rich
