Misread of the decade. It's fantastic.
Seafood dish ftw, with two tubs of chili sauce.

I am a fan of any food as you can imagine so look forward to dining in Vegas! Couple of questions:
1) I take it the dress code of casino's allow shorts, hoodies, trainers etc. What about clubs?
2) Exchanging dollars. Should I do this in Vegas. A couple of people tell me I can get a better rate abroad but I find that hard to believe. Is there any restrictions on the amount £/$ I can take over?

are you gonna stick a staking thread for some tourneys (bellagio or wsop) up whilst ur in vegas??
pretty sure many ppl will be intrested.
I think, given that I was so close to Neil and some of the negativity I'm bound to face (I saw cdw's post- and I fully understand his point of view) it would be inappropriate for me to put a thread asking for backing. Ironically I was planning on putting up a staking thread the weekend just gone. I have sold some privately to some close friends on the circuit. I am very grateful for their support and really hope I can bink something to give them a nice return.

You can take more than 10k no problem, you just need to declare it on the way in. No problem if you do...............if you don't declare it they can take it off you.

1) not sure they let you take clubs into casinos, even in LV
2) I think the max is $10,000 or equivilent. Declare at customs if unsure.

And then there was 3.
Things had changed quite dramatically but I had my two best buds- Kev and Neil. We had always been close and continued to travel to tourneys together mainly APAT and Gala. I can't tell you how much fun we had touring. We took the piss like lads do and had a good time when out and about. Good times.
The home game had planned on going to Vegas last year during the series so me, Neil and Kev were determined to get out there. For one reason or another it didn't happen unfort and Neil ended up going out on his own. When he got back we came up with an idea to ensure it happened this year. Any tournament we played, rather then exchanging %'s we would put 25% in a group fund to be used to get to and play tourneys in Vegas. Again if we won a tournament with the funds used the pool would be replenished. It seemed like a great idea because I'm pretty tez and saving up.
Neil was the first to contribute a chunk when he came 4th at the Notts gala tour which Bramm took down. We had 1k in there fairly early. Kev was mainly min cashing local donkaments we were playing. I contribued the most (brag). I came 11th at the IPO (sigh), won the DTD deepstack, came 3rd in an online tilt tourney and then chopped a £100 tourney at gala. Shelley was pretty peeved to be honest! She said I was funding other poeple's trip. I pointed out to her that it could just as easily gone the other way- and besides I was happy as long as we got to go out there.
Neil held onto the funds. I have no idea where but I remember us asking him to put the share into the blonde fund. He was adamant he would be keeping it seperate which we couldn't understand why. Now we know. Here we go with some classic george2loose naivety. Kev and Neil had a joint account where they held onto the funds. Neil went to Miami and I thought nothing of the fact that Kev had the dough.
A week after Kev got back me and Neil received a message on facebook. Kev had used some of the funds to place bets on the horses and done the lot. I couldn't quite believe it- this money was to get me to Vegas and now it was gone.
Then there was two.... and we all know what happened to make it just me.
I met up with Kev and he was pretty upset. The difference here is I believe Kev made a genuine mistakke. The one good thing to come out of all this mess is that me and Kev have made our peace. Again people might think I'm being soft but I've never needed a mate so much before. Shelley has been brilliant through all this too but she didn't know Neil like me and Kev did (or thought). Kev has began paying me back in weekly installments and is getting as much money together as he can for me.
So my dream of going Vegas and winning big with my two best mates as turned into a sole expedition. Would be really nice if this story has a happy ending....
