Got to ask and I'm sure you've probably answered it before but from your signature, what does RIP- TheChipPrince - $17,165 mean?

Fleetwood are owned by a geezer that plays poker at Blackpool.

He's got a few quid and is prepared to apend it on making the Football League.

Just received confirmation for the 1st League game tomorrow, Sheffield Wednesday V Dagenham & Redbridge.  Whod've thought that would be a league fixture a few years ago?

I have never been to Hillsborough before so always look forward to new grounds, would love to do the 92, but to be honest its highly unlikely I ever will, being based in Chester I would need to at least 20+ 350 mile+ round trips to do all the ones down south, will proabaly get stuck around the 60-65 mark eventually when I do get to all the grounds within a 100 miles or so.

Being a Liverpool fan also want to have a wander around Hillsborough pre-game.  I don't quite recall the disaster in 1989, but obviously I know all about it.

Free buffet would also be nice too please.  Cheesy

It's funny how things work out. The first competitive game of the thread will be at the home of football. Enjoy.

I did give you the tip last season Dwayne!

Peterborough United sign winger Lee Tomlin

Lee Tomlin

Tomlin can play upfront or as a winger

Peterborough United have signed winger Lee Tomlin from Rushden & Diamonds for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old has been registered in time to feature in Gary Johnson's squad for the League One opener against Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

Tomlin joined the Diamonds from the Leicester City academy in 2005 and went on to play 162 games at Nene Park.

Posh boss Gary Johnson told the club's website: "We have pulled off a bit of a coup to get him here."

I know!

Unfortunately even then he was well out of the price range, which albeit, was not that much.

Good. Very good I'd guess, if there isn't success then someone's getting the sack.

Very difficult to see any weak areas.  Spurr played well at LB, Purse will just shove anyone out the way in this league, and cry when he has to turn and run.

Weaver?  Not 100% convinced, but didn't have much to do on sat.

Tudgay I like, Coke did well.  Sedgwick needs games by the look of it, Irvine knows him from previous though so should be fine.

I don't by into all this clapping/gesturing of Clinton Morrison, seems fake to me.

Key man?  O'Connor I'd say.
