On that note about away fans, good to see Crawley took 45 away fans top Gateshead on saturday, 0.005% of what they took to OT, 9,000.
If the funding goes kapput there, they'll be getting less than 1.5k fans and will drift slowly back into non-league.
http://soccer-portal.org/news/5722-crawley-town.html
Noone would mourn their passing.
Keith, you seem to have a real gripe with Crawley - you posted the same thing a few weeks back when they played the game against Man Utd.
I am from Crawley, as a kid used to go and watch them a lot - as a teenager played at the club. Can honestly say that since they moved to the Broadfield Stadium i have only been to watch them about 3 times (in roughly 10/12 years).
But you cannot knock what they are acheiving there! Sure they have thrown a lot of money at it - but then most successful teams do. Sure they have a manger that not many people like - but then most succesful teams do!
THey are not that disimilar to the team you support!!
This isnt having a go - i just wondered why you seemed to have a real dislike for them.
I've got a mate who is a big Boston United fan.
His hatred of Evans has poisoned me I guess!
I don't think QPR are top of the Championship because of money.. the owners are indeed mega rich (and they've pretty much cleared our debts which the fans will always be thankful for - we were close to being busto before they showed up), but there have been no megamoney deals. They wouldn't pay Palace the money you wanted for Ambrose, Clyne and Speroni for instance, all of whom Warnock reportedly really wanted in the off season.

12/5 Rochdale to beat Brighton.
This will happen.
We have been winning every game by 1 goal lately, Dagenham battered us in first half, it was 8 shots to nil, not helped by their stone cold pitch though. If Rochdale have anything similar we will lose easily.

I'm still down to see this on sat so we'll see.
Do you go to many away games Anthony?
Looking forward to the new stadium?

Fair enough.
Charlton, Bournemouth, Watford, Orient, Brentford and Dagenham so far, just the local ones! Might go to Walsall, and defo Notts County.
Got my season ticket in 3rd tier stand, should be good! Seats just started going in...

Yes, of course I recognise you! What was the other forum?
Yup, Withdean is one of the worst grounds I've been to, and I watched the game from the directors box...
Someone said whenever a club decides to switch grounds some supporters don't like it.. there hasn't been one word against it from Brighton fans!
Food was decent though!

Haha, no fans would object to that!
Yeah, it was footballforums.net someone took it from NSC and posted it a few days ago, maybe it was in the Oldham thread on there, not really sure to be honest!!

Brighton are safe, I'm not going to Rochdale now, but to Bradford Park Avenue v Kendal Town.
Anyone old enough to remember them in the football league?
Bonus point for any non-googlers stating which year they were last in the football league.
