lolol rubaments from pokerfan
football is amazing imo. we made 11 changes again for the cup and got knocked out. meanwhile everyone else played in the league and the results went so well that we moved to top of the league with a game in hand
it's a funny old game

Bit of a nightmare last night by all accounts, I missed the first 10 minutes as I got lost trying to find the new ground. I left Chester straight from work at 5, got into Chesterfield at about 7:10 so ok if I was to find it easily. My Sat nav didn't recognise the postcode as I haven't updated it in ages, then typing Chesterfield FC into google on the iPhone took me to the old ground, was fuming to be honest, hate being late. Car park was closed from being late, so chucked it in Tesco next door, aware that the way the evening was going I was likely to have a ticket when I got back to the car, but didn't in the end.
OK new ground, ticketless turnstiles a novelty in L1, average game, Leon Clarke scored the winner and probably stuck a couple of fingers up to Di Canio somehwere in his celebration. Crowd were delighted at the h/t scores of Sheff Utd being 0-3 down, and Wednesday being 0-4 down!

Not a game that grabs the imagination but I fancy Leyton Orient to get their first win against an out of sorts Bournemouth tonight.
I was also surprised that Wimbledon are NOT odds-on to beat woeful Northampton at home???
I also think Macclesfield are out of sorts since selling Sinclair, so Morcambe should be shorter than they are to win away tonight.
Those are my 3 games for a bit of interest
Well that went well

Have your heard any chat about this kid ChipPrince? Rory Donnelly is his name.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15805718.stm
Only 19 years old and scoring goals for fun in the Irish Premier League, only a matter of time before he moves to England apparently Peterborough have made a bid after his recent hattrick on Saturday past.
Looks a good prospect.

Hi Micko, sorry for the lack of a reply earlier.
I confess to knowing nothing about him to be honest, have you seen him live?
I seen this week Swansea are sniffing about, understandable with Rodgers managing I suppose.
What League would you compare the Irish Prem to over here standard wise?
I also have like 4 games to update this thread with which I will do later.
