I thought I would upload a photograph so that the few that know me, would recognise who they were responding to. I then realised how big my left ear appears to be! Hence, the 'one of your Dads' type of joke as my opening gambit.

Firstly, I want to say congrats to Dan Phillips who I have not seen since his great performance in the £300 deepstack at DTD. Nice work pal. I was really pleased for you when I saw that you had gone on to win it.


I am new to blonde poker, so I want to introduce myself properly before I start posting regularly.

I am Adam White and I've been playing Poker for about 4 to 5 years now. I think it would be fair to say that I live and breath the game these days. My alias is _TheWireTap_ on Ladbrokes, where I've been playing 6 max NLH.

Those that play cash at DTD will probably recognise my face, I've been doing alright at £1/£2 NLH there for the past 18 months or so. I think I read the game ok but I would describe myself as being of moderate ability, which is why I want to join the forum as I want to improve and develop my game to the next level. I'll only ever be a recreational player, I have a Mrs and 2 little sprogs to take care of, but playing poker is really important to me.

I have no tournament pedigree to speak of, but I have just signed up to DTD online to try and satellite into some of the bigger live events that are held there (inspired by Kinboshi!).

Anyways, thats enough of an intro. Looking forward to learning something from you guys soon!

Nice to see you're still basking in the glory Dan  Just kidding.

I'm not going to be at DTD this weekend, I'm in the process of grinding my roll up on Ladbrokes and after the Forest game tomorrow we're going to a barbecue (weather's looking dodgy though, isn't it?!).
