Like a Clown checked my bags in straight away as was connecting flight, the flig is cancelled because of the rain and I'm in shorts. Airline. Didn't comp flights either. Was so hungry and only restaurants are in departure lounge so just snap went. |

IIRC you go through immigration even if you're just getting a connection so should be fine to leave the airport

I read you only eat steak- go Peter Lugers steakhouse right away, should get a table for 1 when you turn up easily. Can get hotel after. New York is cool anyway, so its not that much a bad beat
