Vienna Day 1
I went out for dinner with Tudor and our very good friend Lucianna and her fitness instructor Irina. We were joined for drinks afterwards with Jason Lavellee

We woke up early in the morning, were in a very good state of mind and had a very, very good breakfast. I usually dont eat before live poker and it really effects me but i had strawberries, grapes, apple, bananna and a hard boiled egg and was in great morale heading down to the Hofburg Palace to play the Eureka main.
I missed the first 5 hands because the floor staff didnt know where my table was, lol. Eventually we got there and saw Vamplew on our left but nothing else of note and table looked very very good.
Very first hand i open 54hh in the cut off, the button calls and folds really aggressively when I cbet the k54r.
Very next hand, fish limps, i ISO TT to 250, button makes it 450 (guy who folded hand before) fish then makes it 1500ish, button is almost 100% calling here, so i make a relatively standard call.
Flop is
Fish cbets less than 2k. I make it 5700, button re-checks his cards and jams for 18k. Its 12k more for me to call after fish who limp/4bet folds and there is
5700+5700+2000+4500
so around 17k in the pot, obviously I cant fold when he could either have nut flush draw with something else, aq, ak, aj kind of hands, or could have 88 too.
Anyway I instantly call with a "am i really all in on the 2nd hand of the day when i expected to be grinding for 12 hours" kinda look on my face. He has
, i was pretty sure I was going to house but it wasnt meant to be and I was sent to the showers.

The cash games here are really, really, really good. I cant get euros anywhere though, its incredibly annoying. 2p2 guy was trying to charge me 7% vig!!!!! 7!!!1
Anyway, it kinda sucks because tomorrow i have a day off with nothing to do, so going to hope somebody can find me euros or if not have to wait till saturday to play again.
Vienna itself is a gorgeous city, seriously breathtakingly good. Were playing in a palace, usually youd think yeh yeh but its not a real palace, but this is as legit as it gets.
Im very likely to play the 10k high roller next Thursday if im not in another event. There is so many fish around and 100/200, 200/400 and other huge cash games are running so it looks like it could be an incredible field. Will probably sell at no markup to anybody on here, so if you want a little 1% sweat in a pretty fun comp then pm me. If the field ends up looking tough then I would just not reg obviously.
