One of my mates is playing wsope 1k atm, text me earlier to say mementmori on his starting table and durrr 2 down, durrr then got moved to his table. my friend 3 bets durrr first hand to welcome him, soon after loses a flip to take him out with 66 vs KJ, then misses a freeroll against him AJ vs Aj
bit after that they move tables again and I get this text
"i'm next to him now on another table but he's on my left, I have him covered though! oh and we had a little chat and he's never heard of putney! "
bet my mate is soul crushed his hometown is an unknown!

Jeffrey Lisandro Wins Event #2: £5,250 Pot-Limit Omaha (£159,514)
Jeffrey Lisandro is a man who really needs no introduction, but in case you've been living under a rock where there is no poker coverage for the past few years, Mr. Lisandro will tonight be tossing his fifth WSOP bracelet in the pile. This is, though, his first European WSOP bracelet, and also his first in Omaha - his previous four were all in stud poker and were all picked up in Vegas, including three in one Series which earned him the title of 2009 WSOP Player of the Year.
Lisandro battled through a very small but unbelievably high-class field, and although he had to outdraw aces right at the end to take it down, that was no small achievement. Coming back with 15 players today instead of the scheduled nine looked as though it might make for a very late night, but in the event the high-variance nature of Omaha and the aggressiveness of the players made up for the extra numbers, and Lisandro will still get to enjoy some of London's nightlife before he returns to his hotel room to reflect on a job well done.
In a fast-paced final where almost every player took at least one turn at being chip leader, it could have gone anyone's way. Lisandro seems to have a magic touch at these things, though, and as he poses for his winner's photos (although he did refuse to do any interviews) he looks extremely comfortable and relaxed. As though he could get used to this sort of thing.

NoFlopsHomer reports for PN
And that's a wrap, at least for one more day. Tomorrow will see 1c, the final start day for this event and an expected 200 more players though perhaps an increase in the average age as it's Sunday and all the online players may well be preferring 24 tables online to just the single one live. Or maybe they'll assume everyone else is thinking that and actually turn up for tomorrow instead, we won't find out until then.
The chip leader at the end of the day is Wesley Pantling with 56,200 after a rollercoaster day. Some of the biggest names were involved today including both Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan, the former had a great start and led for an early part of the day before eventually running an overpair into flopped top two pair. Dwan also built a stack albeit more slowly, eventually losing with queens in a big flip to Pantling's big slick.
They weren't the only big name casualties on this day as Arnaud Mattern, Phil Hellmuth, Vitaly Lunkin, Huck Seed and Barry Greenstein were all among the hundred or so players who failed to make it through the day.
Those who did however, include Andrew Lichtenberger, EPT Vilamoura winner Toby Lewis and Scott Fischman who'll be hoping to make it to the final table on Tuesday.
