I get to table 12 to see William Folwell bet 6000 into a 10k pot on a board of  Two Clubs , Cuong Tran called.

The river was the   and Tran decided to lead 15400. William quickly moved his stack forward and then decided otherwise and mucked his hand, much to the amusement of the table.

Matt Perrins is doing well in a comp down South. His friend Simon Mitchell is doing well here with a top 10 chip-stack (120k)

Tall Anon suffers a hit

He raises again, a constant theme, and Chris Brion moves all in on him for 40,000

Tall Boy calls with A-Q

Brion A-Jcc

flop 10-K-Q is conclusive and Brion doubles through

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With 26 left the average chips are 67,000 or 35x bb

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alan McBride 80,000

RED-DOG McCready 130,000

celtic 40,000

Table 12 is where the action is at the moment.

Choung raised it up from utg+1 to 5500 and both Calenti (from the button) and Quinne from the BB called. The flop came    seemingly scary for all three it got checked round to the  . Again Dwayne and Choung decided to check, however, Calenti moved up the gears firing 8k. Surprisingly both "checkers" elected to call and we saw the  fall on the river.

It got checked round to Calenti once again and after announcing "I can't win if I don't bluff" fired 19k into the already large pot. Dwayne asked how much Vinny had behind before putting in the call. Choung sigh folded and Dwayne's  was good enough to scoop, Vinny announcing jack high. Very good bet, very good call. Dwayne has moved upto about 150k whilst Vinny drops to 20k.

UTG Greg Garrett opened to 6k. UTG+1 Nathan Watson counted out a 3bet to 15,700 before deciding to just jam his 60k stack, Gaz Walker folded a big hand on the button before Garrett flipped  as he folded.

I then move across to table 13 where Ian Bertram was jamming his miniscule 10k stack with  . Ian Berrie snapped it off with  but unfortunately for him the board ran out  two spades

In EP Dharmesh Patel shoved his 22k stack. OTB Greg Garrett decided to ISO shove and made it 100k, SB Nathan Watson called too and we now had a gigantic pot.

Patel:           (22k)
Garrett:     (100k+)
Watson:      (65k)

board came  two hearts Two Clubs eliminating Watson and seeing Patel treble up.

A short-stacked Ian Bertram has been eliminated in 25th position. We are 7 from the money.

A shortstacked Vinny Calenti got his tiny stack in the middle with  two places down Dwayne Quinne found  and called. Vinny spiked the  and doubled up. Next hand Choung raised to 5500 from the cut off, Vinny again shoved and Choung folded. Vinny is upto 30k and is battling hard.

I moved over to table 11 where tall Anon raised to 4500 and was flatted from the btn and from the big blind. The flop was  and it was checked to tall Anon who fired 7700, the button got out the way as the bb decided to call, the fell on the turn and the bb decided to fold to tall Anon's Jam.

So play has ended and the bagging up process begins. 24 made it to Day Two, and 17 poaid so the first level tomorrow will be crucial.

We'll have the overnight chip counts up as soon as we can.....
