Hand for hand so things are a bit slower
An interesting hand
Chip leader Randall opens to 9,000
Next to act Devenport makes it 23,500
Folded back to Randall he calls
flop
Randall checks, Devenport 30,000, called
turn
Randall 39700, called
River
check check
Randall
Devenport
to scoop a big pot

Huuuuuuuge hand on table 12.
From early position William Follwell shoved his 50k stack into the middle. Simon Mitchell decided to reshove for around 60k and Tom McCreedy also called from the SB.
TOM:
SIMON :
WILLIAM:
Tom was the largest stack and his opponents were drawing to 5 outs between them.
The flop was a safe
but the
got ooo's and aah's from the rail and fist-pumps from Mitchell. He faded the 4 outer on the river and increased his stack to close to 140k.
William Follwell is our unlucky bubble boy. He has shown us fantastic bravery and aggression throughout both days and is definitely one to watch for the future. Unlucky mate.
We are now down to 17 players and everybody is guaranteed at least £600.
Who do you want to win?

RED DOG is phlegmatic
"that was a huge pot.Win that if the Kings stand up and I am chip leader. Still got 100,000 though, so all to play for"
OK, so I know him well, but one thing you have to say, he has a fantastic temperament to play poker.

We are now on a break. On the last hand before the interval Simon Mitchell opened to 6k UTG, both Thomas "Red-Dog" McCreedy and David Levi called.
All three checked on all three streets as the board ran out
and Thomas's
scooped.

Dwayne Quinn informs me he had abit of a wild night after leaving DTD at 2.30am this morning. "We went to a gay club with a few of the locals then went to a house party. I didn't get back to the hotel until 9.15! I'm hanging mate". The hangover doesn't seem to be affecting his play though and he has won a couple 70/30's to ensure he's still right in the pack.

I get to table 12 to see Greg Garrett opening the pot to 8800 from middle position. Dwayne Quinn decided to flat call in position and everybody else got out the way. The flop came down..
, Greg decided to check raise Dwayne's bet of 13.500 to 30,000. Dwayne instantly shoved and Garrett called! Pot in the middle was over 370k which is well over final table average.
The hands:
Greg:
Dwayne :
The turn brought us the
giving Dwayne three "chop" cards.
The river was infact a 4 giving both players a straight but unfortuantely for Garrett it was the
giving Dwayne the nut flush. (sorry Quinn fans for the report slow-roll!)
After losing that race Garrett has under 5k.

Greg Garrett places his last 10,000 over the line as u-tg
Simon Mitchell calls and this brings in Tom McCready and David Levi in the blinds
flop
checked round
turn
Levi shoves 60,000. Mitchell folds
McCready lets out a guttural groan, places his forehead on his chips, leans back, smiles and folds, exasperated
Levi turns over
Garrett
river
and we lose last month's winner Greg Garrett in 17th

On the journey to DTD I predicted that Simon Mitchell and Dwayne Quinn would tangle abit as they are both very aggresive and have big stacks. Thus far everything has been very cagey and not much 3betting going on. Until the last hand.
Dwayne opened the button to 8000 and Mitchell elected to 3bet to 21800, Dwayne tossed in the call.
The flop came down
and Mitchell decided to check, Dwayne shoved for about 2x pot effective and Mitchell went into the tank. He looked at the sky, looked at Dwayne, looked at the board, before watching Drogba diving on the T.V which seemed to be the deciding factor in him folding. Mitchell is still on 100k whilst Dwayne is on the dizzy heights of 400k.
