I like the enterprise sofa shows in his quirky endeavours. The free market we live in rewards those who identify and exploit opportunities. So it's good to read about a fellow Blonde cutting profit from entrepreneurism rather than grimming or degen gambling. I don't get the hating on a guy looking to max profits on his business dealings. If you are selling a product and you tell a potential buyer the price you want for that product how is it classed as ripping people off? What a ridic comment.

The problem I have with it is making money from your friends with virtually no effort.

And the endless spamming is irritating too.

And when you play poker Camel you make money from your friends with virtually no effort. His living is his living.

Certainly not taking sides here, just my 2p.

I just don't see the problem with making money from your friends, so long as your up front about it.

If you say, "I want the sell this" and you describe it accurately, and one of your friends decides to buy it, wheres the harm? 

I've done it all my life, it's the way my society works.

I would much rather buy something from a friend than a stranger.

That being said, sofa king is a bit of a tosser. He bites too quickly. If he's going to spam the forum, he has to expect some flack


No seriously, what we have here is a clash of cultures, lifestyles and experiences.

In sofa's world, people who are the best of friends will earn off each other all the time, they might even lift each others leg occasionally, but that's the way it works.

He might spend all day trying to prise an extra fifty quid out of someone in a deal, but the next day, he might give the same bloke five hundred because he'd had some bad luck.

By the same token, Kieth is one of the most honest, trustworthy, thoroughly decent people I know. You cold trust him with your life.

It's like I said, two good blokes, but with different backgrounds. That's all this is.

In the Gypsy world, very occasionally, when there's an argument, a third party who considers himself to be good friends of both people will step in and say something like

 "This argument is stupid and unnecessary. It upsets me to see it. So I ask you, as a token of our friendship, to please let it go"

This is a big risk for the third party, because the is then putting his friendship on the line for the sake of the other two.

There's no hidden charges etc.

If most of us poker players won a satellite to a 10k comp for 100 dollars, we wouldn't sell at the price we got the seat for. This isn't much different.
