Nope, wasn't wondering at all, had forgotten all about it, and hadn't mentioned it to Dan on the mods board, or queried where my invite was.

Hope no one choked or was sick.

We would have saved you some if we hadn't eaten it all.  She's an excellent cook ya know.

Spoke to one of my stakers yesterday, explained about the visit to the Vic, and how I played like a ***** etc. He said it's fine, the most important thing was that I realised I had played like a *****. I liked that.

Also had some compliments from one of the other stakers last night too, which was nice, so all in all, I'm happy.

Grinded for hours last night, win a pot, lose a pot, win a pot lose a pot etc. Was +130 and decided that I was gonna straddle then go. Folds to the cut of who makes it £15, which is flatted on the button, the blinds fold and I make it £55 with    Smiley The cut off now shoves £254, the button folds, I call, and am almost drawing dead on the all spade flop v  . Still recovering, I'm then dealt KQ and 3bet a raise from the cut off, I lead the K44 flop and he raises. Hmmm. He has £140 back, I set him in, he calls with 34 and holds. Decided that was probably a good time to get out the game. -£289 for the night.

Tonight I'm playing the first event of the Christmas Cracker, a £75 freezeout with £4k gtd prizepool. Hope the G get dent numbers for their comps this week, for their benefit. From a selfish point of view, I hope hardly anyone turns up!

Rooks, Chip Rich & LeKnave are making a guest appearance at Luton tonight, so will be good to see them.

The G are taking some punters to Ascot tomorrow for a VIP day, I was offered a place, but have decided to swerve it. Free food too! I must be ill.

Oh, talking of free food, add 77dave to my 'exclusive' list of mugs people that have bought me dinner this year. Went to a noodle bar with him and Big Tony before the G last night, they even gave us an extra plate of chicken balls by mistake. Obv knew that 2 plates wouldn't be enough to go with the main meal.

Yep, they are very good, a lot better than some of the dross I saw in the UK X-Factor.

One thing I noticed there, Do all Americans look older than they are? Josh is only 30? The middle one is only 16? And the last one looks like he has had had a hard life, well, he prob has, but you know what I mean.

Yeah just shows how dire our show is really, I know they have a much bigger population to pull talent from but if that's the best we can muster it's probably time to jog it on....

I think the beard/hair makes Josh look older as it does with most people. Girls look older than they are as youngsters then generally it can go into reverse once they're in adulthood I think. Also it's always best to prescribe to that train of though to save causing offence if you're ever asked to guess at age Cheesy

That guy was a meth addict which is why he looks like he's had a hard life, obv spent a fair while sucking on a pipe and it's none too good for your complexion. He Josh and 2 others are in the semis which gets voted down to 3 tonight. It's probably aired in the US but I'm waiting to download and watch in the morning. #sadindividual Smiley

I'm back between 22nd and 29th Vinstar, any standout tournaments that I should attend? I'd like to get down for one at least.

Hope all are well!

Very disappointing on both fronts I'm afraid Marky. First of all, ChipRich didn't turn up. Not sure why, secondly, I quickly bust out, was so close to calling Claypole with bottom pair. I just knew he had nothing, he done all the things he does when he has nothing, but it was for my tournament life (copyright Eso Kral) and I couldn't find a call. Was OK tho, I owned Nirvana soon after to double again. Eventually got my short stack in with top pair, rubbish kicker v top pair top kicker on a horrible board, and didn't get there. Sigh, had to re-enter, doubled up with AQ v KQ on a Qxx board. Before that I had a ridic slowroll. I shove a 234 board with JJ, get called by the shortstack, and sigh called by the big stack. I flip the JJ, the big stack (Big Tony) flips a 5, the shortstack now flips a 5, then 10 secs later flips an Ace. Nice! I didn't say much other than disgusting slowroll you... err anyway, I won the sidepot, so no harm done.

Managed to get down to the last two tables with just under average stack, but just couldn't get anything going, Ended up calling a 3 bet jam with KQ v the tilter in the BB, obv he had AK, i flopped the world and missed. Left me crippled and shoved 7 bigs UTG with KQ again and got called by Adam McGenius UTG+1 with A7 and missed. gg me.

Had another volatile cash session last night. I'm sure it's not supposed to be like this?

First major incident came on the feeder table. Three limpers including the straddle and I make it £28, tight guy makes it £60, with £60 back, so I set him in. He calls, I announce AK, he says "you wanna flip with AK in a cash game? You know I have a pair" Sadly it bricked. I really didn't understand his comment, so just ignored it, he got up and left straight away as his mate had busted and they had to go.

I then ran 88 into Aces on a low paired board, and paid him off on the flop, turn & river. WP me. Got moved to the main game and second hand in managed to get a double up with QQ v 10 10 aipf to lessen the damage, then got ridic lucky in two pots, firsty calling a shove with two pair on the turn, and getting there v a straight, and rivering an offsuit gutter v a flopped set that was played very small til the river, so I guess I was about to receive some justice soon...

Lost my biggest ever pot last night! £800+ Totally unavoidable, though, I did kind of feel I was behind when i called his shove on the turn, but I just couldn't fold.

UTG makes it £12, button makes it £44, he has been playing very tight, so his 3 betting range is very narrow, I call with QQ, utg folds. Flop is Q A 8. I check call £65, turn 2, I check, he shoves very confidently. Sigh, I call. gg £400+

Still somehow ended £336+ on the night, don't know how, but I will take it.

Night off tonight from Poker, got a fkin school reunion later. Sure am looking forward to that. I was my idea too ffs. Missed the first two, so should really make the effort to get there I suppose. If it finishes earlier enough, I'm gonna try and get up to Turny's club for the Xmas do.
