Managed to last to 100-200-25 last night, before punting it off with Q 10 green v AQ. Sick beat. Got the rest in with 5 2 v JQ. Another sick beat. Had a good night out though. The tuesday players at the G are hilarious, expert analysis from all over the place, about how each street should be played etc. Might go again next week.
Poor old sirdonks got crushed by Adam McGenius, He leads on a 10 5 4 Q board with Q 10, Athy shoves 8k with AQ, and McGenius re-shoves with KJ, donks Q 10 is no good by the time the 9 on the river falls. Me & Pizzled were really upset for him. And didn't cheer.
LOL was super com.....gotta love how you can play that bad and get there.. apart from the fact it was the 2nd time he'd done that in 20 minutes...pure genius

Started a new period in the cash games on Wednesday, didn't play well at all, but ended up +£431. A downswing is definitely round the corner. Spent most of Thursday asleep, venturing out at 5pm for breakfast, before returning home and going back to sleep at 8.30pm, not waking up til 6.30 on friday.
Done some running around during the day, then had dinner with my Dad before heading to Luton for a pre-arranged cash game at 8pm.

There was a guy in the cash game tonight that was giving money away, that guy was me!
Doubled up playing a flush draw horribly and getting there on the river, then proceeded to give £400 away over the next hour or so. Pulled up and immediately trebled up almost K5ss on sss board. MBN etc. Then the story of the night was BAD. Bad beats, bad calls, bad folds, bad bluffs and bad play. It was just one of those nights were I made decent hands, but the others just made better hands. I had to draw the line at 3am, -£800. There was plenty of money on the table, but to be honest, I just didn't feel I could justify sitting there trying to get it, It wasn't gonna happen, and I suffered my worst night yet. Massive swings. Not good. Low light of the night was losing a £750 pot with AK v K9, luckily he just check called the river, otherwise it could have been worse.
Interesting situation now, as I'm in make up for the first time. Gonna enjoy trying to get out of it though, and I don't intend in staying it long.
Scotty77 seemed to do well tonight, played JQ beautifully v KK, wouldn't mind a bit of analysis from Sky Poker's newest recruit
Also had the pleasure of playing with a guy known as Bob The Butcher. I'm kinda hoping he didn't get that nickname because he worked at Dewhurst. My first experience of him 3 years ago, was seeing him having a row outside Brighton G. I remember me & Trigg wondering if it was all gonna kick off, as the person he was arguing with, isn't really a fighter IMO. But luckily it died down without any blood being spilt.
Went outside for a smoke with Bob, and decided he was gonna give me advice, and a kiss. I let him do it whilst I wait to hear if it he was a master butcher, or he obtained the nick from some where else...

This might shock a few.. I joined a gym today. FML. I even have a 1-2-1 booked for Jan 4th. I'm gonna give it a go. I have joined and failed in the past. 3rd time lucky ftw. Gonna have some sort of weight loss bet with 77dave, he wants to lose some weight in the new year, so maybe a bit of competition might help us. We weigh about the same I think, and he is a bit older than me, so hopefully that gives me a bit of an edge. We'll see!

Haha Bob Clark is a really nice fella and has some stories to tell that's for sure. I'd be more worried about upsetting his mrs than I would him though
Have a great xmas mate and best of luck with the gym in the new year!!

Yes, he was good company, took a real shine to Scotty77, then bluffed off a monkey in 2 hands and left. Best wishes for 2012 to you Marky, hopefully see you in the new year.
