Still no progress with my dad. I went over there last week to pick something up, I can't even bring myself to speak to him, as it will just end up in a row probably, then he will decide he is right, and I will do the same. It's madness. I can't back down though.

My sister feels the same, and has tried to speak to him, but with no joy. She has suggested we go together to speak to him. Doubt that will achieve anything, but may give it a go. We'll see.

There's none so blind as those who won't listen.

Nice.

Thank you. Not one of mine tho. Any idea where that comes from?

The original, & correct version, I assumer came from the Bible.

The bastardised version you have Posted, no idea. China Mug, maybe? Or someone of lesser intellect than him, say, Chompy?

Gissa clue.

PS - Why have you not been to bed? Insomnia? I've had 4 hours & feel shite.

Mulhuzz on the buses thread made me realise I haven't mentioned Celtic for a while.

Big turnaround. 15 point defecit at the beginning of November. Now 2 points ahead. Love it when it's like this. Heading for another helicopter Sunday. Boba Frett will be disappointed this time. Hopefully.

"buses thread", behave.

Loved the Celtic troll though.

Incredible comeback by your boys ("bhoys"?), has a 15 point defecit ever been overturned so fast?

Pokering ftw. Am off for a kip soon. Sleeping through the day>>>>>Sleeping at night.

The phrase was a rough translation from OFAH. I laugh everytime I watch the clip, Del claims it's what his dear old Mum used to say. I think it's great.

You have finally remembered which is which!! Congrats.

I can't remember a turnaround so quick. 7 weeks it took I think. Though we did have 2 games in hand. Can quite easily change again. Sadly, the last few years, maybe longer, it's been a case of which team is less shite, rather than which team is better.

I get in trouble most nights on 865 with the "bhoys" thing. Lots - loads - of players include "bhoys" in their screen-name, & I can never remember which Team it refers to, Blue or Green, so to speak, & I usually get it wrong. Think I get more complaints about that than my deep insightful poker analysis.

Good to see the Nando's Chronicles (your Diary) back in full blathery flow.

Be careful in that private cash game, man. I learned an expensive lesson in one of those many moons ago, despite being warned to be careful by a very old bloke who is usually right. And was.

Thank you, it's run by people I know, and dealt by dealers I know, I also know a lot of the players. It's 100% OK. Wouldn't ever go somewhere where I didn't really know anyone. I'm not Greeky you know.. Wink

Fine fine, since you successfully trolled me quite hard, I shall start reading your diary sir.

Still lots of time to turn it around for Rangers, although maybe the season might yet be settled off the pitch. No matter what your allegiance, nobody wants football settled by the tax man. I hope Rangers swiftly recover and then I can return to trolling my dad with the usual '2 horse race' and 'I wish I had as many flip tokens as Celtic' jibes Wink

Very wise swerve, stick to my Diary, or, if desperate, Tom's Skid-Mark Update.

Ahh Brent Solaris, welcome.

I've been following your thread. I'm not a gambler, but find it interesting. MBN to have MereServeandvolley as a reg poster in your diary. He posted here once, then buggered off.

I'll bet 3 points that the sicilian finds your thread shortly and starts lumping on your picks. Think tennis and international croquet are the only sports he hasn't bet on this year.
