The problem was chrome blocked the pop up, you had to go to the bottom corner and get it to allow the page in future then it just worked.
Bottom corner ?

of the browser window yes.
it's kinda indiscernible (or was) but it does tell you it's blocking a page. this is unless the problem is now something else. I haven't seen anything recent with chrome being discussed, and before chrome was supported by sky I got everyone to use it because it was so much better at performing than any other browser

The 2 main times this happened to me was when I regged for 5 or 6 MTTs, 3 popped up as normal, then the next 2 popped up at the same time around 90 mins and 1 hour, respectively, late then 6th opened fine. 2nd time I was playing HU SNGs and rematching the same guy, going into the 4th match the table wont open but says Im sitting and I blind out.
If chrome was blocking the page wouldnt it affect the earlier games also? And in the case of the MTTs, why would they suddenly open?

the blocking was in reference to the tournies not popping up properly. Your loading prob isn't related obv, though have read some threads where people have had this problem stopped by clean installing air/sky etc
The MTTs can be super hit and miss on popping up and if it thinks you already have it open then you cant open it again.

I set my dad up a Sky Poker account a while ago (should now be tagged to blonde) and he's been having a lot of problems with the site disconnecting all the time. I made my sister phone up our internet provider and do all the relevant speed and connection checks which were completely fine but I'm told the problem is getting worse. Sometimes they can't even connect to the poker room and when my dad does it often disconnects.
Can someone please help or advise?

Officially, the only route is CC, but I'll ask one of the more IT-intimate regulars to make contact with you, or him, via you, to see if he can help. The overall numbers strongly suggest there is not a widespread problem, but that's small comfort to those who do have a prob from tgime to time.

Sorry, slipped into the office vernacular there. "CC" = Customer Care".
CC can't easily handle questions like that, nor are they expected to, in truth. Think in medical terms, of the difference between a GP & a Specialist.

Yeah, probably a better analogy! But I am at least a grown up.
