A lot of the regulars from the 2/5 were supposed to be out of town last night (sigh) so it didn't look hopeful for the game getting started. There was a 1/2 game going on that was good though, and really suited my style and BR. If I hadn't got coolered and bad beated many many times I would've done alright!
By 12 or 1ish I had lost 640 and although I wasn't tilted in the slightest and knew I couldn't have done anything about the hands I lost, I didn't really want to lose anymore, so when the 2/5 game got started (Gosney rocked up at 2am and suddenly things just got going...) I opted out. It would've meant potentially losing 1.3k in a night, which is a decent chunk of my liferoll so I just coudn't afford the shot.
However, I was stuck in Leeds until 5am (first train) so after an hour chilling with Lildave, he staked me 50/50 to go back in the 1/2 game, which was an ideal solution as the game was good and it took the pressure off a bit. Won 300 back then lost most of it in the last hand of the night. Massive sigh. Down 580 for the night which makes the last two days -1.1k.
The 2/5 game looked pretty sick too. LilDave, Jamie Sykes, Matt Frankland and Mitch with a few regs (Tony Milan, Gosney were the only ones I recognised), didn't look like a soft game or anything but loads of action and really deep. Lildave was up about 2k when I left, and had a ridic baller stack, so was pleased for him. Left at 7am and the 2/5 was still running with a full table, I imagine went on past 10am. Had Millies cookies to cheer me up at the station

then fell asleep on the train home (obv) and woke up 3 minutes before the train was about to go back to leeds phew!
So downswing + life spew may have to = moving down to 50/1 again. I'm aiming to seriously cut down on spending as well, (Prague will have to be an exception I guess...) and perhaps move down stakes. Big sigh. At least I was really happy with how I played yesterday rather than the night before where I spewed a lot. Would be nice to win KK vs AK allin pre, not get coolered by Dave, for Mitch not to flop a set against me, to not run my only bluff of the night into Aces full etc etc.
Tonight's bound to be a laugh though - We're all going to Hooters to celebrate Deadman's win, courtesy of his backer. Ship the chicken wings!
