Room temperature water confirmed as correct choice.Another pointless post on the road to being able to join staking thread.
You could just make a diary and then you can post a staking thread in there straightaway instead.

Weekend summary:
We'll start off with the bad, so we can end on a high. Don't be fooled by the different lengths of the good and bad sections! Despite the bad appearing much shorter than the good, they vastly outweighing the good both in terms of severity and in raw fiscal terms!
BAD
-Tournamants. Nice and simple to just leave it as that!
-Staking. Lots of hassle, admin and money. Usually love it, had some awesome moments this year out of staking, the pros do outweigh the cons but it's not going well at the moment, money pouring out of every orifice for quite some time now, their makeup at quite a record high now and it's just not fun when you're silently pleading with one of them to get you out of it, and they just get you further in it!
-DC: Evil. Played 5/5 whilst waiting for a 1/2 holdem game to start, last about 20 minutes, getting it in with made padooki's vs draws and not holding twice.
GOOD
Lots of little things:
-Toby, my good friend who lives in london who I stake as a sort of partime horse who hasn't played for months really, came 3rd in a £60 comp at Foxes, not much money, but really nice for him cos he works and doesn't get to play much so loves the opportunity to play, which I'm more than happy to give him, decent player and a lovely bloke so that made me happy.
-Really enjoyed the sunday grind today, despite its brutality, was just me thigh stato and PJ, but we had a really good laugh all day and I just really enjoyed it.
-Planning to go back to Estonia this weekend yay! Might fit in a trip to St. Petersburg which I was pretty keen on doing anyway, but I've been looking through pictures on google and it looks absolutely incredible. So visa permitting if I can get one for this weekend (which seems pretty unlikely) I'm gonna take her and we'll have a few days there, would be amazing.
-Getting back into PERUDO, the sick dice game, smashed stato for 7 dice over 4 matches for £10/die so nice little bit of pocket money and bragging rights.
-And Dan Carter shipping a UKIPT side event, had written my 10% off when I saw he bubbled the main, but had some of the last event too which he sneaked a win in, so that was a nice surprise and a small bandage for the bullet wound that has been today!
-And good to see Deadman take down the GUKPT and to see Ian Gascoigne make an appearance and come 6th. What a legend.

"....Might fit in a trip to St. Petersburg which I was pretty keen on doing anyway, but I've been looking through pictures on google and it looks absolutely incredible...."
Do it, Alex, you will not regret it.
It is arguably the greatest City in the world in many ways. Of all the Cities I have visited, I cannot think of one that has a greater variety of incredible sights.
The Winter Palace is just about THE greatest palace on earth, & almost as a sideshow, it houses the "Hermitage", the world's greatest collection of Art. Viewed from across the Nevsky, it is a breathtaking sight. Viewed from the other side, in Palace Square - 100% the grandest square on earth - it is even more remarkable. Enter it under the Defence Arch, with the back of the Palace across the square, the Defence buildings behind you, & the awesome Alexander Column in the centre, it will take your breath away.
That column sits on a plinth, & weighs nearly 700 tons, but is not in any way secured to the plinth, it is free-standing! It was erected - manually, in one piece - some 180 years ago.
wiki says.....
The column is a single piece of red granite, 25.45 m (83 ft 6 in) long and about 3.5 m (11 ft 5 in) in diameter. The granite monolith was obtained from Virolahti, Finland and in 1832 transported by sea to Saint Petersburg, on a barge specially designed for this purpose, where it underwent further working. Without the aid of modern cranes and engineering machines, the column, weighing 600 tonnes (661 tons), was erected by 3,000 men under the guidance of William Handyside in less than 2 hours. It is set so neatly that no attachment to the base is needed.
Then there is the Peter & Paul Fortress, & the absolutely incomparable "Church of our Saviour on spilled Blood", of which no photo can do justice, the Summer Palace, & Nevsky Boulevard.
St Petersburg is also home to 35 Palaces.
Go there. You will not regret it.

Brag: Spent a week in St. Petersburg on a school trip when I was younger
Beat: I was only 14, so didn't appreciate just how incredible it is and missed out on a lot of value
Variance: Left unsupervised at night and hotel bar served us until hammered!

Thanks for that Teeks. Somebody asked me recently what's the one place I want to go to next? I didn't really have an answer, which is weird, I've always had something in mind (was Colombia for a long time), India and China are obvious choices as big two I haven't been to yet, but for some reason I don't have a massive drive to go there.
St Petersburg is firmly at the top of the list now.

ok, thats short and sweet, any reason why not? Also was there a split with those who went to Bristol & Blackpool this week. You seem to have loads more fun when you all tip up somewhere on mass
