Links to these quizzes?
I just finished the Breaking Bad finale. It was the perfect way to end it.
Sigh... Please guys, would you mind discussing breaking bad on the other thread?
I know you're not giving the ending away, but I don't want to read discussions about any aspect of it. Especially not how perfect the ending was.
Pretty please.....
Sorry about that!

omg yeh the ending to Breaking Bad. I love how the compelling protagonist overcomes that obstacle and is richer for the experience.

First day today yup, and already grinding 20e satellites
I don't think much need to disclose specific stakes, but it's pretty similar to what I've been playing.
Was on your table late in the wcoop last chance, was casually looking at screen and noticed Gascoine smoking a fat one
good luck in it
Ha, yeh forgot to change my avatar, he's definitely a bok!

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

6/7. Got a double but been very card dead for ages now.
Table is very soft though, couple of tough spots perhaps, but otherwise great.

On it's own, yes I'd be happy if I won 3k in any day, but I've probably profited about $1.5k today (I'm not talking personally, since I'm backed now), since I've bought in for shit loads of other tournaments and not cashed, and probably lost $2.5k or similar yesterday so cashes like that don't actually count as a result.
It's nice to clear a chunk of makeup or cover losses from a bad day or two, but that's the extent of it. I'm not being bigtime at all. I'm very happy winning money, £100, £500, £3k, I love it. It's just playing online tournaments, a 3k cash covers a bad sunday, or covers 2/3 midweek sessions of buyins. It's not really dollar in the sky rocket
Having said all that, I am actually quite happy with the result

Cheers. Gascoigne's scored a last minute equaliser to give himself a second chance!

I am putting in more hours on and off the table than ever before at the moment. September may have been my worst ever month, but it was my 2nd best ever month volume wise- with an estimated 191 hours played (I don't think the two are linked). After a lazy August (Still did 131 hours, but it felt lazy because I was on holiday for 2 weeks!) I set out to really work hard in September and I have definitely achieved that both in playing and studying.
I'm also playing more piano than I ever have since I took up poker. I'm working on a piece by Chopin, one of his most famous piano works - Ballade no.1 in G minor. It's a fantastic piece, well worth a listen to this guy playing it.
Extremely difficult ending, which I'm not sure I have the prowess to master, but I've been working really hard at the first half and it's sounding good now. Really loving getting into it, it's a piece my Aunt played me probably 15 years ago, and I've always loved it, and now to be trying to play it myself is a terrific challenge. Perhaps I'll do a video of my progress soon.
