Yeh Stato's definitely one of them, also aforementioned Vishal is a big spot, first week he played he picked McCarthy for his GK. Shame now he gives someone a 10% freeroll to pick his team by proxy so he's less of a whale. Jonny Chapman is the best at it, close to being blacklisted in fact Cheesy

Not going Irish Open no, next trip is Monte Carlo end of April. Rooming with Stato and Keith, should be a good one.

Great weekend, put my belief in UK poker away from DTD and I'm wanting another trip! The news of you winning the fantasy football draft kind of ruined the weekend for me because you run golden. Dragon

Nice to get one reply, and honoured that it is from the Dragon.

The dragon performed well and would be welcome on all future trips. Unlike Fishal "Theon Greyjoy" Maini who was an embarrassment all weekend.

Now the world of blonde knows... Thank you Alex

It was nice to meet the Dragon this last weekend and having sat with him for a few hours on Friday I can confirm that he has potential to be a great Spewmonkey so can see where he would fit into the Academy.

Plans for Vegas?

Can only make it for a bit, going end of June - end of main event. So about 18 days. Got a 3 bed air bnb apartment right next to Rio, very good deal. Staying with PJ and Tom. It's both of their first times in Vegas, should be fun. I'm staking PJ so could be a very expensive or very lucrative summer! Keith Stato and Mitch going out as well I believe as well as most of the UK squad I assume!

We had a great night out on Monday for Skalie's birthday. Karaoke was a great hit, with a battle between Mitch/Stato doing old classics / rap attempts and the DTD Waitresses doing X Factor auditions with a mix of Skalie 70s punk classics and a classic trumper rendition of Mustang Sally and Elton John - Your Song. Victoria and I even did Frozen!

Another comedy moment during the drinking games was finding out that Vish thought that these two Robin's were the same person...

I've been running golden at fantasy football.

We have this sick rule where if one of your drafted players gets a red card or scores an own goal, you're instantly disqualified Cheesy This week was a double game week for Crystal Palace and Everton, so everyone had drafted lots of their players.

Going into last nights final fixture, Jack Allen had an unassailable lead. We were all playing for 2nd place and side bets (and with £800/£200 payouts, that's not much to be excited about). Jack had 5 players playing last night, and when his James McCarthy got a yellow card, the sweat was on...

And in the 52nd minute, the unthinkable happened.

Jack was absolutely fuming Cheesy

And all of a sudden, if the score stayed at 0-0, then I would scoop for a 3rd week in a row! And it did! Loving this new hobby Smiley

Going to look at a wedding venue on Monday...Monte Carlo on the 26th. Exciting times.

Love the ambiguity over which is the exciting time; the wedding or Monte Carlo?   Good luck with both.

m a big fan of MOnte Carlo, maybe I should go back one day?  It seems odd that the grand final is only 5k rather than 10k these days.

Day one:

Keith, Stato and I all lost between 775 and 940 euros! I played the satellite and busted in actually a very interesting hand I think. I don't often find tournament hands interesting these days, but this has left me scratching my head a bit.

Dom Nitsche limps bvb 300 at 150/300, playing 6k. I raise to 800 he calls. Pre also interesting.

three clubs He checks I bet 700 he calls.

Check Check

He checks, I bet 1400, he jams 4800. Am I too far up in my range to fold? Is he ever bluffing or does he know I have a king and never expect me to fold? I could call my AK combos, QJss, QTss JTss combos that I play this way. But if Im bet folding KQ/KJ/KT etc then thats just way too many combos of bet/fold so need to call some of them in theory.

I called and he had .
